C section abcess

Well had my second section 12 weeks ago one end is still red and sore has been for a few weeks it popped last night i drained it before and cleaned it out and put a dressing on it. I have an appointment in four Days at doctors so will mention it then has anyone else had this and any tips on what to do in mean time x
