Congratulations and thanks for writing that up - really helping as a ftm to be a little more confident about what's about to happen! She's beautiful well done!! Xxx

I am so sorry I haven't been in touch! Thank you for the well wishes!
I don't know what I told you and what I didn't about why we were stuck in hospital for days but my labour was perfect - I'd honestly do it all again tomorrow I really enjoyed the experience and all the midwives were saying it was a lovely calm labour to be involved in. Ella came out perfect with no worries, there was no worries with me except my pulse was double what it should have been but I had pushed a rather big baby out with no pain relief so no one was worried.
That escalated to doctors being completely over precautious & in the head doctors words yesterday 'wrongly and unfairly over diagnosing me' to the point we've been advised to put a complaint in about this doctor. Worse thing about it is is 3 doctors seen me and wanted to discharge me, about 5 midwives looked after us and said I was clearly in good health. My pulse probably wasn't dropping massively because they were making me anxious running so many tests and waking me up every 3 hours (more then Ella does for feeds!!!!). I had an ECG, 10-15 blood tests, 3 injections and 2 needles to thin my blood. An x Ray and a Doppler on my legs. This doctor who never met me was adamant I had a clot. Anyway I didn't and the head head doctor came to see me yesterday morning & was so disgusted I had been kept in , and how bruised I am off all the needles!
Anyway , were home now. Ella is perfect - couldn't ask for a more beautiful well behaved little doll and I feel really good, bruised and sore from all tests but really good otherwise xxxxxx

So glad that you are home and doing well Dan! Must have been such a pain being kept in when you were feeling so well and wanting to get your baby home! Sounds like you did a totally amazing job during labour ~ hopefully we can all follow in your path! Xx

My goodness bunny thats crazy!! Any wonder your pulse was up with all that going on. Im sure your over the moon to be back in the comfort of your own home! Hope you and Ella are well xx

Bless you hun, sounds overally stressful without good cause! I had no where near that much prodding and worry but when I was kept in for almost 5 whole days after having Ruby due to blood loss and increased white blood cells it was driving me nuts and when I was finally discharged I was told I could of been discharged 2 days beforehand in reality so totally get the frustration!
