Bump disspears when sitting down?

Hi Everyone

Hope your all having a great weekend!!

I have a reasonable sized bump, not too big not too small (posted pics in Tri 2 bumps but not got round to posting in Tri 3 yet)

Bump is very hard when i'm standing and lying down, but when I sit down, I literally cant feel anything Its just flab I can feel (i'm not really overweight maybe a stone or 2 heavier than I should be) I'm sitting down just now and when I gently poke my belly, its all soft! Cant feel any hardness at all, but i can feel baby wriggling about going crazy in there.

Where the heck does it all go when I sit down.

i have no idea where it goes, but this used to happen to me, i always used to say to my OH i just look fat when i'm sat down! but now i have a solid bump no-matter my position! they must just hug into our bodies! i know my placenta is posteriori and bubs was always hugging it at scans! that might be where they go! x

thats really cute about baby hugging ur placenta.

My MW did say that baby is either back to back or breech, I dont think that has anything to do with this though. Its wierd coz as soon as I stand up it just pops right out, its actually kinda embarrasing sitting down. But, it has been getting harder over the last couple of weeks to bend over so maybe it wont be long til it officially pops out. Feel like a fake lool

aww thanks that makes me feel a bit better - might take a photo of standing and one sitting so you's can see what i'm talking about, its driving me insane.
