We are going to pay off our buggy on Saturday, we've gone for the Mamas and Papas Ultima!

I love it sooo much! But it's very expensive and I'm worried i'll fail my driving test and have to take it on and off busses all day (it is quite bulky....but light)

Anyone have one? Should we go for it?

I haven't picked mine up yet, but don't worry, chick, you loved it, it's your choice and you will love using it!

No sorry I don't know anything about it, but if you really love it you'll figure a way to work with it. I'm sure you'll pass your test anyway, so no problem - simples ;)

I have the silver cross sleep over version of the ultima and have never had a problem on buses, in fact I still prefer it to my smaller prams as it just seems more protecting :flower:

I like the carry cot! My LO will be sleeping in it for as long as poss and it seems sturdy and big!

go for it then :)
as for cars, we struggled in my estate, but when you pass your test the citroen xara is worth a look at with the pram, it is so much easier to get in and out (that is where I found the problem of having a big pram, ended up getting a smaller one which I hate. :flower:

We have a ford focus. It seemed to fit with the measurements

I had an estate type thing which had enough room, but to get the pram in and out I had to put the cot on the floor or in the passenger seats to get the wheels in and then everything was rather balanced

hate to dampen things i had this pram and sold it.

its great with just the car seat on and the carrycot is great in the house for them to sleep in but once the carry cot is on the chasis or the pram seat its heavy and bulky.

I have a freelander2 and it filled the boot very little room for anything else and the boots arent small.

if your happy it doesnt fold neatly or is light unless its just the chasis then go ahead but personally i wouldnt want to get on and off a bus with it.

Sorry but thats just my view. id never opt for one again i bought all the accesories etc too and spent just short of £1k on it all and got back £260 for it when i sold it................ The Sola on the other hand is light and easier to manoevure.

Hope your not fretting too much chick. You put lots of thought into choosing your buggy didn't you so i'm sure that you made the right choice for you.
How r u feeling about it now hun? xxx

Might just chance it.... Brought a changing bag to match already lol! Might have 1 more look at the others when in store on Saturday and have 1 more play on it!

The Ultima is a great pram and it's gorgeous!!!! I was originally thinking of getting it but, as you know, had to go for something lighter cos of my MS. If i were you i would defo get it hun!!!!
Plus, the bag is the perfect match
