we have a very impractical car-mazda rx-8 which has a smallish boot. does anyone know of a good web-site for push chairs which fold down small or know of any makes which fold down small? :moon:

We have a Ford KA its tiny!! We have ordered an Urban Detour offroader, the wheels come off/on so it can fold up pretty small

I had this problem - had a Mini Cooper. as unpracticle as you can get!

Had to sell if for a Mummy Wagon type car!

But atleast now i have loads of room! :cheer:

Don't get a Hauck I'coo - they are huge, my big new astra has toruble getting it in the boot :wall:

If you look in the mothercare catalogue, it shows how big the buggies are when closed down which might help hun xx

What's you budget hun? I'm just having a look hun for you, the travel systems are big so they aren't a good idea really. The smallest ones do seem to be the most expesive though :?

If you want a pushchair then the Maclarens fold down small and light, plus they lie back almost flat for newborns :)

My God Linny!!

We have an RX8 too - totally impractical for babies, however it's the OH's pride and joy so it won't be getting swapped for a nice people carrier or even a family saloon.

I'd be more worried about how much fuel those babies drink!!!!

my travel system it still quiet big when folded but i would rather change my banger then my buggy lol

I have the same problem my OH has a VR6 Corrado Storm his baby its a classic, and I have a Golf convertible my boot is not that bad but wont be able to do a big shop, and I reruse to give in if he wont!

Congrats on the new car btw Sami, we've got an astra too but not a new one. Wish we could afford a new one mind :D

My oh has a 205 gti with no back seats and a roll cage, it wont be going though, its an mi16 highly modified track prepped and he built it himself soooo i convinced him to get a 307 aswell :D

So the baby isn't going to travel in this car? I'm confused, why post a picture of it?

We have an Almera for the baby but hopefully i'll twist Paul's arm and get the baby seat in the back of this car (can't go in the front becuase of the air bag) but the back is small (too small for a person to sit in there) and as long as there are plastic sheets everyone (to catch the baby sick, drinks being spilt etc), hopefully in November i'll be posting a picture of the baby in the back
