I'm a cuppa tea girl but as BF, I wanted to drink enougth, and I like cold water , not tap water so I brought a 6 pack of water bottles from the supermarket and then wash up and refill with water each evening and pop into the fridge. Then I can grab one and go sit down, (esp in the early days that your in, when it's one constant feed all day, no time to wait for a kettle to boil) an grab from fridge with one arm!
snack wise - I went OTT on chocolate, never was a chocky freek, more a sweets girl , thought it was the breastfeeding making me crave it, to up fats etc, now I realise it was the caffine, as I had stuck to caffine free tea after pregnancy, (caffine makes me a bit phsyco if I don't get another cuppa on time.... (ADICT!) So now I've had to give up chocolate!! Ooops , no snacking for me...
I suppose if you said you would grab water and an apple every feed, you really would have more than 5 a day!
