So, I have my normal padded underwire bras which I probably shouldn't be wearing, and they do actually cause me quite a bit of pain just under my boobs.
However, the nice big (size 20) stretchy cotton bras that I bought the other day are a bit rubbish at hiding the ol' nipples. Which I think are on a mega growth mission
So I'm sticking to the padded ones just in case I poke a child's eye out :)

Anyway, does anyone know any shop which sells non-underwired, soft bras that still have padding? Otherwise I'm gonna have to start using breast pads just to cover the nipples, when I'm not even leaking yet - seems a bit of a waste!!!

I'm sure mothercare had some padded maternity bras xx

I went to the debenhams sale yesterday and saw some padded maternity bras. They r just like t-shirt bras without the underwire. Look very comfy too!

Matalan do white and black ones from £3 and i just get sports bras s well cheap and comfy x

mothercare, debenhams, matalan & i think primark do padded non wired, there not maternity ones but i dont really know the difference to be honest,

matalan are ok unless ur above a D cup then they seam to forget that women still have nipples and might not want to get them out all the time, (unless its just our local matalan :/ )

i got shouted at by the lady in mothercare for having underwired bras on still at 38wks, i was like but they give u a better shape, she just tutted and said at nearly a F cup you dont need to look shapely, you are, pfft i wana feel comfy tho with my humongous bump hiding my boobs, lol

It only in the last few weeks that I've stopped wearing my under-wired bras, but my boobs haven't really grown that much as yet. I've bought a couple of nursing bras, one I love, the other is ok, but not as comfy (of course it's the expensive one from John Lewis that I'm not keen on!).

This is the one that I adore, it's not padded, but is soooo comfy. It stretches to accommodate changes in cup size and chest measurements. http://www.boots.com/en/Carriwell-Seamless-Drop-Cup-Bra-Black_927069/ It would probably work well with a couple of reusable breast pads although I've not needed to use any as yet.

Wow, I daren't go in there for advice now, that's awful amy!
Tbh I can't be bothered to go into town with all the christmas shoppers so might try matalan as it's on the outskirts.
I could buy them online but I guess I do need to try them on really.
