Boy Name Opinions, Please :)

You've probably already considered them too, but I really like Ilya and Leonid (apparently a Russian version of the greek Leonidas)!! As my name gives away I'm partly Italian and I've basically lived in the UK my whole life, but we used to live in Italy for about a year when I was a kid and there were Russian twin boys in my class - Ilya and Leonid. I always thought they had really cool names. I think they also had an older brother named Maksim (or Maxim not sure).
Don't know if Ilya could even work in the UK because of the "a" at the end, which is not that unusual in Italy, but mostly indicates a girl name in the UK (at least for me), but I still think it's pretty :)

As from your list Matvey is still my favourite! :) And second would be Nikolai and just like Orion said I would think of Nicholas, not Nicola :)

Matvey and Nikolai are definitely my favourites :) can shorten Nikolai to Niki, as in little Niki from Fresh Prince :) haha

Maksim is nice too, my little brother has suggested it actually... Thank you :)

Orion, I agree. And that's an amazing argument! I am going to tell him that tonight.

Gingerjv, yup! All of the above haha my mum keeps referring to the baby as Andrey (Andrusha), which is annoying. Anatoliy is nice actually :)

And you're right, he makes this task even more difficult than it already is!!
Oh dear, I wish you to be strong and not to kill your husband :)
What are the recent news? what name you are thinking of now?

No news.... I still like Matvey and Nikolai, but every time I try to mention choosing names to my OH he avoids the topic and says russian names are too hard. Tough shit. That's what baby is having, unless he wants the baby to have my last name. Fair is fair.
