Bottles?

I think its a good idea to have some just in case, but I wouldnt go mad and buy loads, as baby might not take to the bottles you buy. Best to buy a couple so that if they dont like them, its not a huge waste of money if you have to get more of a different brand x

I made the mistake of not buying a bottle or steriliser with my first because I thought I would breast feed! Big mistake! My mum had to rush out and buy me stuff before I came home!!

I just got 6 blue tommee tippee bottles in asda for £7.50  rrp £29.99. They are reducing them to clear after the baby event. So worth checking out for those just incase bottles :)

I breastfed both boys, and plan to do the same this time, and with all I,ve had bottles to express for my partner and we,ve just bought some tommy tippee bottles xx

I ebf'd until LO started solids, now he just bf's on demand on top of his usual food / drink. He's never actually had a bottle as he drinks from a cup, but I did buy some just in case. Never say never and all that ;)

I have bought bottles and a steriliser the tommie tippie closer to nature. This is because I hope to (ATM) bf and express so that mr w can feed baby to. I was also told that you can give baby some water as well which mr w can do :) and if my plan doesnt go how I hoped then I'm prepared either way :) x

My little boy is combi fed and dispute midwives saying he'd eventually reject the Boob he hasn't infant he tries to get into my top all the time lol. Munchkin. I used bottles from 5 weeks and we have never had an issue. I'd bought a
Microwave steraliser just incase and bottles

just wanted to add to this, i bf my 2nd baby and bought tt bottles too and and after the first week i expressed one bottle per day so dad could have a turn and he never got confused between the bottle or the nipple he even had a dummy and there was never any confusion at all

i have just had my 3rd and planned on bf again i never bought a pump although i had the bottles and steriiser and formula just in case!! planned on buying the pump after we established bf, but it goes to show if you have dne it once it doesnt always work again!!

my LO is only 9 days old and i started bf and it didnt matter how many hours he lay there latched on sucking away he never settled at all, spoke to mw who suggested a top up of formula to which he settled straight away we carried on like this unitil the 5th day always having to top up after a 2hr feed off me we was not geting any sleep day or night so i swapped completely to formula and the first day of swappin to formula my lo slept through the night from 11-7 and is still doing so now and yes i feel bad that i had to swap but it was better for us both to be getting some rest and sleep and im happy with that and my mw agreed with me for doing so as she said not all babies take to breastfeeding and this has clearly happened to me!! so in my eyes it is best to be prepared incase things dont turn out the way you expected :) xx

I plan to BF but I have got some bottles so I can express too
