all they seem to focus on is sex and the size of our boobs!!

I have a few apps on my phone, and get loads of email updates about pregnancy, and most of them say that Dad needs to get his finger out and help more around the house as we are pretty tired. As mine is a lazy arsed ******* at the best of times I was looking for a pregnancy website aimed at men that might drop a massive hint that he needs to be doing a bit more.

I have looked at a few, and I am pretty disgusted to say the least! Here is what 1 website has to say about the 2nd Trimester........

You are now moving into the second trimester, the sunny, bright uplands of pregnancy. This is the time when

  • the bump shows properly, so people no longer think she has been at the Krispy Kremes
  • then (drum roll, please): Week 15 -The Return of The Libido (hopefully)
  • the initial tiredness had abated
  • increased blood volume means no more dizziness
  • the bump is not the hindrance it will become
  • the Breast Fairy has done its job
This lasts for around 10 to 12 weeks. Enjoy.

nothing mentioned here about how we might still be feeling very sick, our breasts can be tender, food aversions can be pretty bad so we would appreciate a bit of help with the cooking, back starts getting sore so the odd back rub would be appreceiated.......... nada. All about sex and boobs!

my god we have a little baby growing inside us, can they not think about that for 9 months instead of their cocks as usual??!??!

 wtf!!!! seems on that particular forum pregnant womens feelings are obviously not important! And anyway, they got that wrong, my libido has decreased the more pregnant i have become  idiots!!! x

Ahh that one seems a little more tactile at least (and some good tips for OH's on there too seen as though mine has no clue lol) at least theres one good forum out there if nothing else! x

Omg that's so bloody annoying!!

I have to admit, my DH keeps asking when does the 'horny stage' of pregnancy start?!
Ummm...IT DOESN'T!!!!!!

Oh my, its like reading a copy of nuts mag (i imagine) lol

Hehe.

I get updates from the What to Expect website - sometimes the update is aimed at daddy's. In one of the earlier updates it mentioned sickness may be leaving and libido should be rising - my husband huffed and sarcastically said "Yeah, coz that is the only thing I'm worried about - not the development of my baby or how my wife is actually feeling". :) He got brownie points for that!

He also wanted to read a book for dad's. He said a lot of them were really tactless and didn't actually give you an insight into pregnancy, the feelings both daddy and mummy go through. He finally found one that had a bit of humour but also explained the fears and joys too.

So in short, yep, men sites tend to be useless. Even the men seem to realise this!

WTF!!! Who said sexism was dead eh? Disgusting x

That was aimed at the quotes on the initial post btw ;) x

That's why we have the babies, we are strong enough to do it, men couldn't handle it
