Bleeding?

Just wondered how long everyone bles for after giving birth?
My baby is 10 days old and today Ive had hardly any blood loss at all. I dont want to get my hopes up though incase its just temporary?
Even my stitches feel loads better!!

I bled fairly heavily for about 6 weeks after but I know some women don't bleed very much at all. Fingers crossed you are one of the lucky ones! x

Mine was non existent from the start which was brill, but one day at about 2 weeks I lost clots-it was because I was doing too much. I was lifting things, bending and stretching. But I felt fine after my section so just got on with it. I suspect you and me are the lucky ones! Xx

I'm the same OP, baby is 10 days old and bleeding is minimal.

I bleed a little when I express but other than that I have all but stopped.

Immediately after birth I bled a fair bit but all in all it's been like a period for me?

I had no tears or stitches either so although I had a horrendous labour I actually had a really good birth and after birth exprience!

I had to be cut and have stitches so they have been a little sore but since tuesday they have been fine too.

I forget that I have given birth because I feel so 'normal' haha

Im so glad though cos I forgot what its like to be bleeding. I only had a coiple of periods before getting pregnant as i had just come off of the depo injection xx

I bled for 6weeks with my first, vaginal birth.
3weeks with my second, vaginal birth.
10 weeks with my third, c section.

Yeah you could say that lol.
as if it wasnt bad enough bleeding that long but i had reocurrant infections in my section scar for 3months. wasnt the best recovery lol x

Mine was on and off (but minimal) after about 2 weeks and has now stopped altogether as of about 3 days ago

I bled heavily for a few days then had a period type bleed for about a week - followed by a couple of weeks of spotting that a panty liner could handle
