Bleeding

It's 3 weeks tomorrow since i had baby Stevey and i'm still getting slight bleeding... doctors didn't seem bothered so i was just wondering how long everyone else bled for after having their baby??

I was told that after a section you bleed for a longer period of time than a vaginal delivery but less per day. I'm still bleeding a fai bit and its been 2 weeks and a day x

Yes, mine was off and on for about 5 weeks, I wouldn't worry it's normal - just annoying xx

With my first I bled for 4 weeks after a vaginal birth and my partner bled for 3 weeks after a section! I think everyone is different but anything upto 6-7 weeks is normal x

I bled for 3 weeks and I had a section. A friend of mine bled heavily for 6 wekks after a vaginal delivery, so I don't think it makes a difference! x

6 weeks for c section, but really light and annoying for the last 2 weeks or so xx

3 weeks with my second vaginal birth,
10 weeks with my youngest c section
