bleeding stories but healthy pregnancy...please add ur experiences

im just waiting for my scan tommo since bleeding for 5 days its now slowed dowwn loads and was a bit like a period but lighter but i know there is a poss of a bad outcome.

Just wanted to hear peoples happy healthy pregnancy stories of when they bled, how much, consistancy ie clots etc and when they knew everything was ok any anything else they can think of.

Esp any early bleeders like 5 to 6 weeks in.

I haven't had any personal experience of bleeding but one of my best friends had really heavy bright red bleed in first few weeks (can't remember exactly when) and went on to have a healthy baby boy x docs couldn't explain the bleed x fingers crossed for you sweetie tomorrow must seem a lifetime away!

i had a bleed when i was between 4-6 weeks it started off as light period then i had an internal scan and everything seemed fine after that my bleeding got heavier like a period bleed so went back for my second scan they found a heartbeat and they said they couldn't explain why i bled (i bled for about a week and half in total) but all seems ok so now i am 7-8 weeks now and everything seems fine got nausea which makes me feel crap i get bloated and have other pregnancy symptoms just got to wait till my dating scan now so i can't wait going to be ages away (feels like it anyway). best thing to do is keep positive and try your hardest not to worry i know its hard not to but you don't want to put strain on the baby. hope all goes well many women have this problem its very common.

I bled every month or so (sometimes skipped a month) for about 5 months total. Sometimes very heavy red blood, sometimes just brown spotting. Each time I was put down as having a threatened miscarriage, each time everything was fine.

I bled for three days when I was 4 months. Really heavy and bright red blood.
I was dizzy and felt sick and the bleed actually contributed to my anaemia.

I was rushed into triage where the examined me and found baby's heart beat. I was in hospital for nearly 12 hours and they said that everything was fine and that it happens sometimes and they couldnt explain why. But baby was fine and I went on to have a totally normal pregnancy. DD is now 3 and a half.

I'm sure everything will be fine hun but it know how stressful and worrying this time is when you just want to make sure your baby is ok xx

thank u sooo much for your stories. My boobs dont hurt any moore, but im still peeing loads, got lots of visiable vains on my boobs, thighs etc. Just hoping its all ok . I went asda today and saw all the baby stuff on sale and everywhere i turn theres babys and stuff. I realise now how much i want thid baby xxx

its always a good sign that your having pregnancy symptoms so try not to worry

Good luck with your scan, hope everything is ok. I bled on and off from about 5 weeks until 14 weeks, not sure what the cause was, I also had days that I didn't feel pregnant. I am now 26 weeks pregnant. xx

Hi There, Im 8 weeks and 1 day now but between 5-7 weeks i bleed nearly every other day with bad pain. I was never very very heavy but the last day i did have small red clotts. I went for three scans. One at 4 weeks and nothing could be see, one at 5 weeks 3 days where we saw a tiny round dot and yoke sack. Then my final one at 7 weeks and I saw the little one and its heart beat. The hospitals are very good and I know exactly what your going through but Im sure you will be ok. Try not to worry xx

with my 1st pregnancy i bled at 5 weeks too just a light bleed of bright red blood then stopped after a day hospital scanneed and saw sac but too early to tell so had to wait 10 days and went back saw heartbeat had my beautiful son, so good luck bleeding is v common xxxxxx
