Bleeding/spotting. Can someone calm me down please? TMI!!!

Right. My last AF was a miscarriage (chem preg at 4w3d) so I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated this month (normally 29 day cycle) and therefore not sure how pregnant I actually am...

Last weekend (when my AF would have been due has I not been 3 days 'late' from the m/c) I had some very light brown discharge (it was in CM and I have since attributed it to implantation bleeding/spotting having read up on it. Plus it was at the right sort of time).

Last night (what would be 4w5d if my dating is correct. I have had incredibly faint BFNs and 2 digi 'pregnant's since tues). I had a small amount of brown discharge and some bright red 'middle of AF' type blood when I wiped. Obviously I panicked as red blood is rarely a good sign and last month I ended up with no baby. I put on a pad, we had a big old cry, and went to sleep. I've been up and down all night - nothing in the pad or when I wipe. Of course, being up and about now could mean I start bleeding again as it may have been pooling while I was lying down but I got up 5 times during the night and have been up for a good half hour already.

I have had cramping but no more than I have been experiencing over the last week. My backache is still there. I am waiting on the sickness returning (have been getting it around the middle of the day, it is only 0630 here now).

What the hell could the spotting have been? If it's IB then my dates are way out and I am more like 4w0d than 4w5d. But if that's the case then what was the brown discharge last week?

Sorry I know this is a very common question but I am really confused and worried as I really don't want to go through another m/c (who does?). The last one started with an evening of the brown blood/CM discharge and went on to light bleeding within a day, then full bleeding the next. So this is clearly different. What could it be?!

Oh hun

Bleeding in early pregnancy is VERY common, it can be a number of things, it doesnt always mean m/c

I suggest you get yourself to the doc and get refered for a scan to see whats going on, if the bleeding conintues to get heavier or more painfull cramps go to the hospital.

Also if you think your dates where wrong, it still could of been implantation bleeding (around when baby implanted into the uterus.)

IB can happen around then and around expected af, which it may just be

When I was roughly 6weeks with Jaeda I remember feeling like something was leaking below,
when I wiped it was bright red blooy GP who told me to go str[/b]d and I immediatly panicked so called me to go strait in.
I got there and nearly fainted so they called an ambulance.
Luckily when I got there my cervix was closed and they done a scan and alll was fine.

It does not always mean the worst but always needs to be checked out.

thanks guys. it's early morning here so at least i dont have to suffer another sleepless night.

I will go to the doc's/hospital on Monday I think (the hospitals aren't as crowded as in UK so may well be able to just walk into the gynae ward and see the specialist i saw last time). I was going to wait another week or so to get a scan as it's so early and if I didn't see anything (with it being so early) I knew I would just panic for another fortnight lol

I hope everything is ok. Take as much rest as possible hun and as others say it doesn't always mean it's a m/c when u bleed.
I never had a m/c and I am sure i would freak out if something like this happened i totally understand how u feel.
best thing is see a Dr and hopefully everything will be fine

I think I will see a doc earlier than planned. didnt' want to go for reassurance scan until around 5/6weeks as more chance of seeing something (therefore not panicking about there being nothing there) but maybe I will go earlier. Only thing ishubby is working until week on thurs

Thanks guys. I think it is the worst. the bleeding has continued all day and I have small clots and period pain/backache (although I've had that with no bleeding for the last couple of days). What little sickness I was experiencing has gone and we are both just inconsolable that this is happening yet again.
