Had quite a bit of blood this morning. Sort of mucusey. Light cramping accompanied. Went to the dr and my hcg levels are low (I’m 6+1) but she found a heartbeat. I’m going back in two days to have my hcg levels measured again and have another exam. She said she doesn’t know, could end up ok, but could be miscarriage. My boyfriend and I are devastated and trying to accept that this is the end of my pregnancy. We don’t know how to adjust our life expectations from this. We’re both so sad.

Hi honeygirl. I hope you are ok. I had mmc just over a week ago and had the mva procedure last fri. The morning of my procedure i had pinkish mucus and a bit of blood with mild cramps. This was normal accordng to Dr and likely due to the misoprostol i had to take before procedure.

Although it could be start of a mc, i know lots of ladies in tri have had bleeding and cramps and its been ok. Its really positive they found heartbeat. Bleeding is more common than people think in tri especially. I really hope your hcg rises. We were devasted but have read lots of really positive stories about how women have coped afterwards and gone onto conceive very quickly. Its such a horrible waiting game. You both will adjust if you have to, it just might take some time. Take care hun x

Thanks Melly. I continue to bleed now and it seems to be getting clottier and stringy. I’ll confirm tomorrow but I’m sure it’s mc.

Sorry to read this honey girl :-( I hope today was a positive outcome!

Thank you. Found out today it’s officially a miscarriage. I hope to be back on this forum soon.
