has anyone had an internal 4m a male doc?? just my MW says it will more than likely b a man who gives me 1 on mon, am not bothered by it but curious, cos i heard there needs 2 b sum1 else in the room etc etc

I had two done by 2different male doctors. there was a midwife in the room both times (and DH) x

see thinkin bout it... im sure a male MW did 1 at the hosp wen i was in labour but there was that many damn people proddin bout diwn there i cant remember

i had my sweep done by a male..i asked him to stop as it was too painful and he wrote really big across my notes "UNABLE TO TOLERATE SWEEP" i think that was quite unfair as i put up with it for 2 mins and it was agony..how would he know what its like to have a man poking around your cervix!!!! anyway next time they examined me they gave me gas and air which was great fun so he did me a favour!

hun i think you can request that you have a woman if your uncomfortable with a man doing it..i wish i had!

the first male doctor that did it was great, because a woman did it before him and it hurt loads so i was scared for the next one but he was a better doctor. Then the second guy that did it was awful! but thats cos he told me i wasnt in labour after i had my show - when I knew I was and it was all starting (eva was born the next day!!) he made me feel so small and stupid.

just glad he saw me getting wheeled passed holding my baby the next day!

I've never had a male examine me down there. In the hospital it was all women who administered the cervical gel to induce me and who examined me. They were going to have a male doctor break my waters though but I asked for a female so they went and got a female for me.
And then after that I had 2 female midwives for the actual labour part (one for several hours, and then she went home and another one took over from her).

when i was in labour i had a big black man doing my internals his hands were huge

he broke my waters too he was so nasty too. can tell he had never been giving birth when i was moaning at 9cm he told me there was no need for it and to keep quiet

oh man I'd have flipped out. If I was in labour and somebody had've said that to me I'd have probably burst into tears, shouted at them, and demanded somebody else take over from him! lol.

i no he was so rude when i was ready to push they insisted they had to break my waters they said they were so ful. he poked me with a stick the huge gush of water went every were and at the same time Harleys head just shoot down i screamed he looked at me and said in a powering voise "there was no need for that"

then i heard him on the phone to special care calling for a nurse to come (its routine with a prem baby) i paniced and said. "is there a problem and cryed ohhhhh no whats happening" he turned around and said i wasnt talking to you was i i was on the phone. its nothing to do with you!

kris started standing up in his face ready to punch him i was screaming lol must have been a right sence! and he refused me a epidural saying its best he dont give me one as im fine!!!!!!!!!!

ild pay alot of money to see a bloke in labour
