Hey girls
Jakes birthday isn't until July but me being super organised am thinking what to get him. He will be turning 2.

What sort of presents did u get ur little ones at this age...any ideas welcome

Xx

Seriously, boxes.

Any gift you get him, the box it comes in will be at least as entertaining, if not more so.

Does he show any signs of a specific interest?
DS was (still is) huge on cars, so I got him a multi-storey parking lot thing with a lift and ramps, and he LOVES wizzing the cars down the ramps.

Seriously, at two, they're still just all about making a mess and getting themselves into ridiculous situations, so I'd just generally go on a hunt through google/amazon for "toddler toys", and see what catches your eye.

Xx

My son had his second birthday last month. He got loads of lego duplo which was very popular. My son also loves things like cars, planes and trains, so anything like that, preferably that also makes a noise and has flashing lights is also popular.

One of his favourite toys is a cheap fire engine I got him from B&M last year!

My boy loves Thomas the tank engine, but for his 2nd birthday he got a tri scooter and a balance bike (house was too full for indoor toys! Ha ha!)

How about a sand and water table? Little Tikes do a fab pirate ship one!

I've bought this for my lo's 2nd birthday (also in July so haven't taken it out the box yet). Looks great though and gets good reviews. Thought it would be good for a summer birthday.

A few other things I've bought and put away;
toy dyson hoover
melissa & doug wooden ball and hammer thing (he loves whacking things)
some peppa pig books
we're going on a bearhunt (classic book).

Some other ideas
toy kitchen
fisher price retro record player
fisher price crocodile xylophone
orchard puzzles (eg post box game)
kinetic sand

Kay kay, seeing the toy Dyson reminded me, our son got a toy henry hoover for Xmas and he loves it.

Every time I get our big henry out (or daddy henry as our boy calls it!), he goes and gets baby henry to come and help! So cute!

Lucie will be 2 in July and I have got her a small trampoline that blows bubbles! We are also taking her to night garden live. She's just got a playhouse too which is part of her present but we thought she might as well have it now to get some use out of it. I know mil is getting her a sandpit too.

We have bought Noah an out door wooden play house! (Family chipping in) I cant wait for it to arrive ao i can paint it!
He will be having a wooden kitchen too to go inside along with his table and chair thats currently clogging up my living room.
For xmas hes getting a tool bench so thats another idea.

Im also getting a few peppa pig things as hes obsessed.
Have the henry hoover that arrived the other day.

And im gettibg a few 2 for £15 things off argos (lawn mower, mr tumble teddy, play doh and the learning red bus as he broke his old one and loves it lol)

Thats it tho as the outdoor how is expensive.

Also for xmas ive already bought the leapad for him and just need to get a few games for it now xx

Rosie's two in July and I've just purchased her this - and the matching Wendy house to go with ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430219551.441807.jpg I hate how bright and plastic it is but she loves it! Hopefully will last a while too!

We've given it to her already cos I want her to make most of it if weather is nice!

On her actual birthday we are literally giving her one small gift so she has something to open - like a peppa pig set, or something from happy land etc xx

Another vote for the Henry hoover here. We actually got ot for James 1st Birthday (as he adored our real Henry hoover) but he plays with it more now.

Aww carnat cute pic!

Holi that looks fab!

My wee one has just got in to Noddy big time thanks to a DVD someone got him at christmas so I'll no doubt get some more Noddy things too (does my head in though!!). This birthday is growing arms and legs!

My little boy is mad on trains, so we got him lots of brio. His main present was the vtech toot toot train station, the train is motorised and goes round the track by itself- he loves it. I got him a few peg puzzles too as he loves to do them now x

Noah had all the toot toot for christmas but keeps breaking up all the track lol!
Hell play with the cars that comes with it but not on the actual track lol!

Mega bloks are always a winner too! X

My nephew has just turned two and I bought him a personalised wooden tool set from the. Laser boutique, a hard hat and some blue overalls, and I ironed on a little digger motif. I wasn't there when he opened them but it went down well I'm told.
