Big brother presents

Is anyone else planning on getting older siblings presents from the new arrival/yourselves?

I am in the process of putting a 'big brother' kit together and wondered if anyone else has suggestions or past experience of what they would/have put in?

So far in the 'kit' there will be;

A superhero print - saying 'brothers make the best heroes!
Big brother badge
T-shirt saying 'I'm the big brother'
A book about new arrivals and how things will change ect
Small photo album
Disposable camera
Pick'n'Mix

I absolutely LOVE this idea!!!!!
My lb has loves looking at his scan pictures and comparing them to the new baby's, how about a picture from when he was born to see what he was like compared to his sibling? xx

Fab idea!! Will get a double frame so that we can put both pictures side by side!!

Big sister tshirt (will wear it when coming to hosp for first time to meet baby, photo opportunity lol)
Big sister badge
New big sister card from baby, got it off funky pigeon.
Big sister teddy as she loves teddies plus will be keepsake
Rest of stuff are just presents but sneakily i thought they would keep her entertained at hosp and in the first few days if she needs distracting or kept busy. So got some of her fav animal figures, nursery rhyme dvd, art stuff and magazines/stickers. Will put some in her gift bag and rest into cupboard as standby for any difficult days when im home alone with the two of them lol

Will be stalking for other ideas x

Another great idea!!

He is 8 Heres Hoping - will get a magazine and a dvd too (sure amazon have Disney films for under £10 at the moment).

He has a shed load of lego already so really needing some ideas for other things. Currently he'd be happy to spend all his time on Minecraft but don't want to promote that too much!

LOL we have a minecraft fanatic also, if baby bought him minecraft it would def be in the good books in our house haha!!!
Are the kiddies excited to help out? Maybe something that can be theirs for helping? I'm not sure what but I know my LB is looking forward to being a helper when the new baby comes!

Pismo, what was the book you got for your lb? All the ones I'm finding are for toddlers and my lb will be 5 so I thought they might be a little babyish for him xx

Both are suggested for older readers but would probably stick to the second one for a five year old.

LO is 2.5 so we have a shirt saying big brother & toy from paw patrol waiting for him at hospital and daddy is going to take him to pick a teddy to give to baby.

We also have a huge train table waiting for him at home as a surprise but that was a Xmas present we ended up keeping back. Love the idea of a disposable camera a friend suggested a vtech camera which is good too x

I bought my daughter a scooter. I figured we could still go out for walks like I had when she was a baby. We also got a couple of things for the house that would keep her entertained! 2000 tinkerbell stickers, a jigsaw and a dvd. As it happens my daughters birthday is Xmas Eve, so it was a way to get her some presents in the middle of the year! Ha!

I'd planned on getting DD a present but hadn't thought of a box/bag of goodies, that's a really good idea! Will get googling for bits for it now
