Hey. Hope you're doing ok xxx

I don't have any advice as I'm in similar situation. Hoping to learn best things to do to avoid MC happening again.

Take care.:hug::hug:

Oh honey, i'm sorry you're going through this, and you dawn h too. I had 4 miscarriages in a previous relationship and all sorts of fertility problems. Then in a happier relationship I conceived naturally with my little boy and again this time. When I was carrying my son I was a nervous wreak convinced i'd miscarry again, as far as I know there is no way to prevent or avoid miscarriage, you just have to try to stay positive (so much easier said than done!) I followed all the advice to the letter, folic acid, had no caffine at all, was advised by my gp to stop running, get plenty of rest etc, but i'm not sure it all makes any difference at all. I will say though going through all of that in the past made me appreciate my little miracle baby so much more and it amazes me every day that I got my baby at last. Good luck ladies, i'm here if you ever need a chat, the ladies on here are fab xx

That's really helpful thankyou I'm going to turn this into a positive thing now as it's made me realise what I definately want n I'm sure il make a good mum after all the effort iv put in being careful with food etc this time. I'm going to try and get back to how I was go out with friends and bf and spend a bit of Money and time on myself! Book a holiday and get the excitement back of the relationship, just hoping miscarriage doesn't ruin what we've got! Hopefully if I do all of that but be concious of wen I'm ovulating take folic acid etc but not go crazy on ttc hopefully it will take me by suprise again but be successful this time x

hi do you have any reasons that may have caused mc? if not then best precautions is to be a healthy wieght , eat 5-7min fresh fruit or veg portions daily, ensure a varied and balenced diet, cut out alcohol and smoking (if you currently do) and take a pregnecare tablet or other multivitamin plus folic acid tablets, take around 3 months before ttc and then continue until you fall preg and then until at least 12 weeks or the date at wich you mc (if later than 12 weeks)

i am currently prepareing to ttc after a loss not quite a normal mc but stil my body failed me, im trying to be positive and am now on prescribed folic acid (they think thats what may have caused my problem) and multivits, can ttc again next month....eeek scared but excited xx

Thanx Hun not sure what caused mc. I have to have d and c as sac was still empty from 5 weeks to 6.5 weeks with minimal growth and non doubling hcg. Should I Stop taking folic acid until my d&c n then start taking it again as soon as hcg is at zero? Il start up my healthy eating again also n will not drink alcohol (havnt since I found out I was pg) just wondering of it's best to take more folic acid n if I should wait for at before trying? Or should I test a week or so after d&c n check hpt comes back negative n re test from there? Sorry to ask so many questions, sorry about ur loss and hope ur coping ok x

Theres no way to avoid MC hunny, you didn't do anything wrong these things just happen. Why don't you speak to your doctor about baby Asprin? I have heard it can help when pregnant but check with your doctor first xxx

yeah iv heard about that think il ask about that, im hoping im just unfortunate and il have a healthy pregnancy. but just concerned as a few ppl have had recurrent miscarriage! trying to be positive next time tho x

My first was a MC, don't worry the odds are good for a healthy pregnancy next time round :) xxx
