Best Air Freshner

As above - what do y'all use?

I'm getting fed up with the aerosol ones, they smell nice at the time but the smell doesn't hang about long.

Got one of those ones that squirts stuff out every couple of mins think its airwick but im not sure about it.

Any recommendations??

I have ambi pure plug in. It has 3 sents but I always use the same one.

Oooh that sounds nice!

I have scented candles here normally (OH's mum is always buying Yankee ones off QVC!) but as we're 2nd floor it's easy to leave the windows open when we're home without worrying.

That sounds lovely Lacey's mummy - only prob is...I dont want OH to start wanting home baking because of the smell



Cant really use candles unless its night-time, terrifies the life outta me with my 7yo flying about the house. But i've heard candles absorb the smell through the wick!

Anything with fabrese (sp?) in !! So I got unplug in which alternates between 2 fabrese scents I love the stuff!!

I use a room & linen spray from.Avon black cherry & nutmeg, its lovely, my Windows are open first thing, then get closed when I go out etc, nothing like fresh air to blow through your rooms, I try to keep dust down too as that holds smells

We're fully carpeted in this house & I sometimes feel like the smell holds because of it (we're thinking of getting laminate in living room & hall in nxt cpl of months)

I totally love febreeze, didn't know they did an air freshner, if I buy the clothes spray stuff, I go around like a loony spraying it on the carpets.

I always have windows open, only time they're closed is if they're making the door slam, or if its freezing.

Febreze is good on carpets, I'd like laminate flooring too, just got to save some pennies first

I have that 3-volution one - has three different smells. Its mega strong when you first plug it in but it dies down. Got one in living room and one in bedroom

Ooooh is that the same one that Lacey's mummy advised? Ambi pure? I quite like ones with a stronger smell

I use plug ins too. The 3 scent one, think the ones i've been getting is the rose one? I haven't had any for a while as they're sooooo expensive!!!!! (I like the sound of that one Chaz!) I love Glade Clean linen plug in too.

I use the 3 scent ones too - they do tend to fade though. in my bathroom i have the one that has the sticks sticking out - it smells lush and stays really strong - when visitors come you turn the sticks to give it an extra boost.

I also clean using zoflora concentrate in my mop bucket and for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen - the smell lingers!
