becoming prime minister

Tasha i do think you help alot of breast feeding mums but you come accress soooo anti formula, and people have to have a good anough reason why they didnt breastfeed, i never even tryed it with Dior
it dont make me a bad mum or that she has missed out, untill i see any proof she is doing under expected of her age i wont regret it.

i feel like if you bottle feed you need to explain why to cover yourself

she has not missed out she had the warnt the closnes every thing.

sorry this thread has turned around so much but it does boil up some times

you are passionate about breast feeding as you see all the benifits but i seen benifits with bottle feeding to.

I would not abolish the NHS. BUT i would make it so that not everyone can get heatlth care from it. You would have had to have been a resident in this country all your life to get the benefits. Immigrants would have to suffer i am afraid. As would people coming in from other countries unless they are on holiday and need emergency that is.

Well that'd be me buggered then wouldn't it - I came to the UK when I was 3.
Not my fault I wasn't born here - not my fault I was brought here when I was 3 either. Bit harsh there budge.

no i mean these people coming over in their 30/40's. i don't see thatthey have paid enough stamp to get free treatment. you came over when you were three and there fore have wprked here all your life.

i worded it wrong. i should have put worked instead of lived. :)

this thread is just a bit of fun.

Many people feel strongly about breastfeeding, well I feel strongly about how bottle feeding mothers are made to feel bad :)

Have to say I agree, everywhere I turn on the forum there's threads and posts mentioning and hinting at formula being "wrong" in some way. It's like some sort of breastfeeding "crusade" and I am NOT liking it at all (and I breastfed for 9 MONTHS!)

Even worse then this though is I think it may be affecting moms on a private level, and in turn their babies.

Say you were a new, breastfeeding mom you were struggling... would you come HERE and ask for advice? I'm starting to think people will be afraid to ask for fear of getting judged/belittled, so this "crusade" is doing more harm than good.

I personally would like to echo these thoughts. Without naming names or pointing the finger the breast is best argument has been getting me down lately and I am having to stop myself in certain threads from replying. Possibly not the intention but the constant wittering on about it makes me feel inadequate as a mother as it is suggested that I and other bottlers are not doing the best for their baby. I take huge offense at this and would never judge someone on the choices they made for their child - unless of course they were really bad.

People might say they are not judging but clearly they are, there are times when I feel like leaving the forum so as not to get myself wound up by it.

My opinion is that my baby is fed clothed and a happy little chappy (most of the time) and that is doing the best for my baby, whether is is put on my breast is completely irrelevant.

i still love u M and im sure Teejy loves his bottles too lol!

some mums use boob, some use bottle - there is a CHOICE!! :D
