you raise a good point. i will have to go and discuss this wih my deputy. i need to ifne tune it.

I agree with Dionne, prime ministress!!! There should be alot more jobs available from home for mothers. I would certainly consider this option.

And I also think they make it far too difficult for mothers to get back to work. For example, when I was looking for a job with my ONE A LEVEL  I could not find a job that would pay enough for me to lose our tax credits, and as I only really have my Gran for support and so no one can pick up LO from school etc, so we really struggle financially some months.

slightly off to the right there budge arnt ya love

Ok my policies would be:

There would be no "bands" for income tax, but instead everyone would pay the same percentage. I think its unfair that higher earners pay less of a percentage than low earners.

Council tax would be broken down into catagories and services - so for example if you live on a road where the street lights never work you have the right to with-hold that section of your payments until they are fixed, and you only pay for the services you actually use.

There would be no more bottomless pit of government funding for pointless things like counting statistics for how many people have blue eyes as opposed to brown. The money is much needed elsewhere.

I would halt all military actions, bring all of our soldiers home and instead train and employ peace negotiators and mediators and start to end the conflicts once and for all.

All schools would follow the Steiner principles of education (see here if you have no idea what im on about http://www.steinerwaldorf.org.uk/ )

I would make it compulsory to attend parenting classes as soon a woman becomes pregnant, and these would teach about the basic pyscological damage things such as neglect, violence and too much shouting can cause, and parents from certain "lifestyles" will be more closely monitored. I would ideally like to see licenses to have children but it would be near impossible to control.

thats it for now - oh yeah apart from one more thing - free chocolate for pre-menstrual women

One rule i wud enforce is that if you CHOOSE to smoke/live an unhealthy lifestyle YOU are responsible for your illhealth..

smoking is a life choice.
