BDing Scheduele??

I'm thinking of doing a bd'ing 'schedule' this month as I'm really enthusiastic that we can actually try properly now!

So I started my period on the 9th and finished on the 15th.

So if I bd every day now until the 31st of Decemeber and then every other day after that until 7th. Would that work out right?

Also, anyone got any other tips or tricks for maximum conceiving power?

i'm BD everyother day at the moment with OH. starting yesterday until around the 24th at the moment. my guessed cycle is 35days, because it always changes, so i should OV around the 21st however i've been getting my 'shooty pain things' which i usually get around the time of OV i've figured out so have started BD now.. until a few days after i know i've OV.

sperm survives for a few days inside you anyway so every other day should cover you. i certainly know i couldn't manage to BD every day for a month. maybe that's just me but i'd say in the 2WW i'd BD for the first few days, just to make sure you've covered OV but wouldn't worry about it as much towards the end as it's unlikely you'll OV that close to what might be AF.

Yeah I second the above. The second conception happened for us by BD-ing every other day (or thereabouts. I think we had once where it was 3 days not 2) for the first 3 weeks. Then I suddenly didn't feel like it and OH guessed I was pregnant. He has known before me both times the sneaky man lol.

A lot of people try to pin it down to specific days but I know personally, not using BBT thermometers and not being able to get to grips with Cm I just hedge my bets and go for it every other day for as long as I can.

I'm with Holly thought. I couldn't do it every day!!!

If you know the rough length of your cycles then there's no point bd'ing to conceive in the first week as you won't be fertile then ~ but it's still fun tho
When we did it we started a couple of days before I began getting +ve's on the OV kits and then every day over ovulation and a few days after.
Sperm can live in the body up to 5 days so as long as you're bd'ing loads over your ov time you have a really good chance of catching that little egg!!
