More?!!..... Now what??

Hi Ladies!

OK so I posted a couple of days ago (I think) saying I had EWCM from Friday (25th) until Sunday (27th). Well we BD'd every day whilst it was there. Then yesterday it was all gone so I assumed i'd OV'd while I had EWCM.

Anyway....

I've just gone to the loo and there's alot more EWCM?!

So now what?? Do we BD every night for the next few nights again or do we just leave it? I'm going to be testing between 12th July & 16th. We don't really go more than 2 nights with out BDing anyway so even if we left it tonight chances are the randy sod will wanna BD tomorrow night anyway!

I'm a bit confused! Which doesn't take much at the best of times! lol

To BD or not to BD??

lol Hi Crystalize!

BD = Baby dancing (sex)
EWCM= Egg white cervical mucus (the ideal mucus needed to concieve)

I think they are the only ones i've used but there lots of abbreviations!

The other common ones are:

AF = Aunt Flo (period)
BFP= Big Fat Positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN= Big Fat Negative (negative pregnancy test)

Don't worry I didn't have a clue at first but you'll soon get the hang of it!

I guess it can't hurt to BD!! as much as possible, but this is going to sound so awful...at the moment, I don't really want to unless I'm OV ing? (is that the right abrev?) it seems a bit pointless, which definitely proves I'm going a bit mad over all of this. We used to do it when ever we wanted to and it was about us. It still is for my husband, but for me, it's only about trying to conceive. I've got really strong cramps today, which are too early for my period which is due in 7 days. I'm hoping I've implanted, but also (because I'm bonkers) worried it's an eptopic pregnancy. AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I was a little bit like you at first, well apart from not wanting to BD unless I was OVing.

Just try to relax because most women will always say when you relax and don't think about trying for a baby it'll happen. We've been relaxed about it and BDing whenever the mood takes us for a few months now and it's so much less pressure all round! The only reason i've found the EWCM over the last few days is because there's been alot of it! Other than that i've ignored every little twinge or cramp because lets face it... it could be anything!

You're quite right
If I get me period next week then I'm going to just chill out from now on and let things happen. There's no rush and you're right, every little twinge and feeling could be anything, I'm just more in tune with it all at the moment!

Hi Crystalise, welcome to the forum.
I worry about ectopic preg too. Especially during 2WW (the 2 week wait) when i get a strong twinge right over on one side or the other. I always rub it to try to move it along, how ridiculous is that!

Clairebear, are you sure the EW you have now isn't his? You know, coming back out?

Lol - the other one to learn Crystalise is TMI - which means Too Much Information, as we can get quite graphic on here, asking all those questions one is too embarrased to discuss with your friends

I've got an app with my nurse this afternoon anyway, so I'll mention my concern, but knowing my luck it will be early PMS.

Unfortunately we have been trying about 20 months. We have both badgered our doctor about getting tests to see if there is anything wrong but she says we must have been trying for 2 years before they do it (unless we pay hundreds to do it privately). Still, it will be 2 years in another 4 months! It seems like forever to us, getting excited every month that it might be the one, me SS (symptom spotting) like mad, and peeing on everything from ov kits to pg kits (sooo expensive!)

My 'ectopic pg' always turn out to be only pms pain - sigh....... I'm sure yours are too, or else you are actually pg! yay.

Where are you on your cycle? How long have you been trying? Is it for your first?

I've already got Amy who is 5 next month. I'm due on Wednesday next week and we did lots of BDing! over my ovulation period.

You could try a ov test and see what it says, I am still having creamy cm even though I had a potitive opk on Sunday so shold have finished ovulation by now, I had so much last night that i done another test just to be sure but that was negative. I am taking it all as a good sign as a sympton of pregnancy is lots of CM...... told yah Claire this is going to be our month I can feel it in my bones

My CM isn't creamy at all it's completly see through!?!

It's cleared up now though so we'll BD tonight just incase!

My OH did say last night that he's defo sure i'm pregnant!! He doesn't have any reason to think so but we'll see!

I never had any see through CM this month but got a positive OPK so fingers crossed.... my boobs have been tingling as well which I have never experieced before ... see even your OH thinks this is the month so it has to happen.... dont know why I just feel very positive this month

But I would def get another round of BD in ... juuuust in case!!!
