Have a fab time on hoiday my parents tried for 5 years before falling pregnant with me so they relaxed and thought its never going to happen then as if by magic i appeared and then my sister 2 years later so i deffinatly think being relaxed about it works xx

I think thats a fab idea - they say that stress is one of the biggest contributors to not conceiving. My friend is a GP and said 95% are PG within a year and of the 5% that dont 97% of those go on to conceive. With all your perfect results I think stress is the only answer.

Good luck Maybe, I have to say you make a lot of sense. My attitude is changing lately too as in I'm a bit more relaxed. The disappointment every month can be overwhelming and there are so many times when I yearn for the days when I wasn't constantly thining about TTC! It does become an obsession. I think you're right to take a break from PF. You're hubby and family are right, you are young and have plenty of time to have a baba. I'm sure it will happen for you!

I know how you are feeling I too am trying to distant myself from ttc and all our problems, but its not that easy to just switch off from it all!!

Hi Girls,

Sorry I haven't let you all know sooner but I've been banned by everyone from obsessively TTC and from PF.

Hubby's had a big barny at me as I said I didn't want to go to Thailand for 3 weeks over Xmas, he was like are you frickin mental, you're 29 we have plenty of time to TTC.....

I kind of saw his thought and thought why not??

Then made a plan B.......

I made an appointment with my private doc to get Clomid, I went with hubby and he asked why and I said I was sick of TTC and he said I am a fit and healthy and I have regular cycles and I have a 20% chance of conceiving each month, if I was to take clomid that would go down to 17% with an increased risk of miscarriage.

He said I need to stop stressing, I have no fertility problems and I have time on my side, I asked about lifestyle and things and he said I'm fine to live a normal life have a drink when I want and to eat healthily. He also said I have a normal and now perfect uterus!

So basically Hubby thinks I need to chill out and be patient, the specialist thinks the same and to be honest so do my mates and my Mum.

So I'm off to Thailand and in the mean time I'm NTNP! (Well it's the only new tactic I've not tried!! )

I'll try and pop on every now and then but please will someone PM me with big news from any of my long-timers incase I miss it!

Hi CHic! Sorry im a newbie so didnt quite catch how long you have been ttc! Im 28 and been trying since I was 21 with now 4 failed IVF attempts.

What you wrote I could have written myself 5 years ago!!!!!! Please please take your husbands advice - relax, take it easy - enjoy all the loving - stressing and worrying prevents pregnancy.

That's a really great plan Maybe. The TTC thing is just so difficult and can def take over your life. Hope that u have a really restful and relaxing 3 weeks in Thailand with your Hubbie. Looking forward to hearing from u in the future when your luck comes in and a LO is on it's way. Deffo enjoy yourself and focus on your Hubbie and u having fun together, the rest will come xxxx
