Back from scan

I had my scan. Sonographer was a div but apart from that everything is ok. They basically took the piss out of me as my baby is big. He only weighs estimated 6 and half lb which I thought was fine and smaller than I expected. They still felt the need to go on about it and blamed me for eating too much cheeky hoe's after I said I didnt have GD They said he is right on top of the 95th centile and it is up to the midwives what they do about it....like they can do anything about it though! Can you tell I didnt like them?! Fluid has gone down a bit. It was 18 and its now 16.9 so Im still a water bomb

Something shocking though....my baby has hair which you can clearly see the outline of on the scan. I always knew he would be hairy but Ive never known anyone to be able to tell hair from a scan bless him, he will be like a little fuzzy bat after all

aww, glad the scan went well. I think it's rubbish what they said about you overeating, I heard that overeating junk can cause low birth weight if anything

yeah the overeating thing is a load of rubbish! Babies take what they need and we get the rest so if you were overeating you'd be the biff one (hich you are not) not the bubba, lol.

The eating thing is rubbish, I ate nothing but junk with my son and he was 6lb 7oz at 2 weeks overdue!

hi there glad all went well at scan, when i had a scan with my youngest at 20 weeks they showed us the monitor and pointed out this mass of hair at the bottom of her head, and sure enough when she was born she had loads of jet black hair, now it is a BIG MASS of very tight curly light brown hair and she is 18 months old.

Glad your scan went well and fluids gone down a little. Cheeky mare saying that about eating - surely they should realise NEVER to anger a pregnant woman!

I am feeling soooooo sensitive this afternoon, what they said just upset me I know its hormones, I just cried mascara all over OH

Does sound like everything's fine though and you blatantly haven't eaten too much - looking at your photos we seem to have similar sized bumps and we were a similar size (6/8 and 5'1" with size 3 feet!) to start with so sounds like b0ll0x to me.

Anyway furry or not, bat or not, biff or not, I bet he'll be gorgeous

Glad it went okay, sounded like a bunch of arses though!! If you were eating too much, surely you would be bigger in other places? To me it looks like you're all baby.

Scary thought though..If baby puts on an estimated half a pound a week...and you go 2 weeks overdue..that equals to around 12lbs?
