Babys 1st outfit for the hospital

What size clothes should i buy for the hospital 0-3 or new baby heard they grown out of them so fast!

I'd buy new baby hun....our LO was nearly 9lb and didn't fit in 0-3 til she was about 6 weeks! HTH xx

I had a 7lb with short legs, I had to send out for tiny baby. Def get some smaller ones. Xxx

Oo good question and advice! I have a lot of 0-3 also as thought he will be massive, but will take lil stuff, Yey to excuse for more shopping!!

I'd take some of both. Brody fitted into newborn really well, but at 5 weeks they started getting too wee for his legs. He is now in 0-3 months. I'd def have more 0-3 month clothes than newborn.

I also really recommend just getting babygrows and vest tops for underneath. I bought lots of outfits, but I can't be fussed with them and change his clothes a lot. Babygrows are easy!

Im taking 3 newborn and 3 0-3 month my lo was only 6lb 7 and only fit newborn for a couple of weeks cos he is tall. I don't have many newborn clothes if I need them will send someone ti buy some more but I found ppl tend to buy newborn as gifts.

I bought loads of 0-3 month stuff and only 1 pack of 2 newborn sized sleepsuits, and ended up having to send OH out to buy more newborn sizes once we got her home! They do grow out of them fairly quick, but the 0-3 month stuff just completely dwarfed Poppy for the first few weeks. x

Im taking one of each when i go to hospital, we have loads of 0-3 but knowing my luck ill have him and he'll be big so im taking some 0-3, and some 3-6 just incase

i have only got 0-3 some go up to 10lbs and some up to 12lbs if shes that tiny wil have to nipout and get something x

My girl was 7lb 7 and all 0-3 stuff was huge. OH had to go out buy some 'tiny baby' gros from mothercare. Couple weeks on however and she's outgrowing them!
