I really cant remeber with Sophie, but when does the baby start to slow down?

I havent really felt my baby move much since last night, it was while i was watching east enders that i last really felt it move,

anyone got any advice?
please

mine never really slowed down so much as changed in the movements. The movements became more of an all tummy feeling instead of a kick sort of thing.
At the moment this baby is getting to that stage now.

You should still be feeling plenty of movements. Try laying on your back and relaxing! Prod your tummy a little hehe

thx for reply budge hun

i have tried relaxing, eating drinking poking the poor little thing still nowt yet, must just be tired today.

try slamming the cutlery drawer! mine went quiet on me like yours and i just happened to slap that drawer and the little thing jumped and didn't stop moving for ages! :rotfl:

try fizzy pop too - that always works for me.

Thx budge

After my really hot curry iam having tonight at my leaving do from work iam sure it will move then :D

it ewas meant to read slamming the cutlery door. I hope you haven't gone slapping the cutlery door :rotfl: :rotfl: You're hubby will think you've lost your marbles.

Hi Sophie, I know you are much further on than me but I spoke to my midwife about the exact same thing yesterday and she told me that even at the end your baby can move without you feeling it. I'm in Denmark and she said that they don't tell you to count 10 movements here as some you won't feel and babies often have very lazy days, she said just be aware of feeling something each day. I am of course going to count as much as I can still if I feel I'm not feeling anything but I reckon your LO has just been feeling lazy. Also if your LO changes position you may not recognise the movements, this is what happened to me this week and I found out I have been poking her in the head trying to get her to kick

If I am getting worried because I haven't felt her move for a bit, I drink a glass of cold water and then lie down. That always sets her off.

We watched one of the star wars films a couple of months ago and my hubby had it loud (he likes it really loud) and she was most definitely complaining about all the loud noise. :)

I think it might just be your LO having a lazy day, my little boy has quite a few, (probably because hes a boy and we all know what men are like ... start as they mean to go on) I shouldnt worry too much if your still worried in a few days call your MW or the hospital team. There have been a couple of times i have been worried and they have been great and monitored him, luckily he's fine. Hope everything is ok sophie!

Thanks for ur replys, its really good to post something when ur worried and get responses which make u feel so much better

The baby didnt really move all morning well at least i cound'nt feel then when i was getting some waxing done he started moving :cheer:

so that makes me feel so much better :D

I only get someone to do it for me cos iam such a big tart and dont like doing it myself, also i know that if they hurt me i cant hit them :rotfl:

Well th indian got the little bugger moving in fact he has never stopped all bloody night!!!

But after yesterday iam not complaining :cheer:

That's good I find spicy things do it every time! My LO has also been on the move non stop since yesterday morning and like you I'm not complaining either, its a real relief after they've been quiet isn't it? :D

mine never really stops moving but i do use it as an indication as to how he is so i no he is ok!
