was speaking to someone else about this, and thought I would recommend a website that I have used a few times. Anyone that I know that gets married or has a baby gets one of these boxes!

they are amazing quality, fairly large and sturdy wooden boxes. If you dont see a design you like, then you can just email the lady that runs the company and she does her absolute best for you!

I have never had a problem with this company, and have loved every box they have made for me

i have a wedding one that I stuck in an invitation, order of service etc etc.

And am going to get a baby one, and put in a diary I have been keeping since CD1 of trying to conceive on the cycle I got pregnant up until and just after birth!
also going to keep the baby bands, special coming home outif etc etc in. Will be a lovely gift for the child when they hit 16 or 18 or even when they have their own kids. And these boxes are made to last! not like the flimsy boxes that will look bashed and worn in no time from cheaper websites.

Ooh I'll look at there later as I'm after one big enough for all the bits from my ds!i never kept a diary but have been writing down for him all the things that happened just before he was born so far it's taken 4 notebooks!

Lovely idea Hun, with wedding and baby in one go for me I might make it one box :) x

Aww these are lovely. I have a baby box my parents kept when i was young. It's got hospital band, first outfit, first shoes etc in. Plus cards and gifts in. I love looking through and it is so nice to get out at look at now and then xx
