zach will never settle upstairs. he sleeps in a moses basket at the end of our bed.
i always do his bed time feed in my bed, usually he falls asleep on boob, then i put him in his basket. but he always wakes up quite quickly, withing half an hour probably and he won't settle unless one of us takes him downstairs. even if he's screaming, as soon as he comes down he stops! whyyy? it's such a bloomin' pain but the only way i can get some sleep. sometimes he'll settle for co-sleeping, but even that isn't as good as our front room!
