I was more straining to see the control line at first. I called G in saying quickly.. cos i wanted him to see how quickly it came up. He was all like "well its cos you're pregnant duurr" yeah thanks boy haha.

Mine's at 10.20 but seeing I'm in the Netherlands that will be 9.20 UK time. I'm hoping all goes well for both of us

I'll be at playgroup having toast and coffee at 9:20 then water from there after lol...it's going to kill me to hold a pint of water in, just getting over a water infection

Yes scan date is right its just a dating scan cause not sure what my dates are for sure.

New EDD is 8th August, they have put me back to 9 weeks 4 days, i'll step down from my throne at being at the top.

On a bit of a side note, i know a few of you girls have puppy dogs too. Last night when i was laid in bed Lulu got on for snuggles (which she always does) but she stood directly on my tummy. (she's not a small pup) and since then i've just been feeling panicy. I'm guessing that theres enough fat and muscles etc to protect Fernando, but can anyone re-assure me of that? (sorry)

JD - I wouldn't worry about it, there's plenty of stuff around the baby to protect it...well you know that now anyway as you have had your scan. Glad everything went well

If you have any worries, post your own thread about it...we do...it will be nice to hear a complaint/worry/rant etc... from somebody else hehe!

haha. i'm too shy to do my own threads lol.
i think i'll do that next time, i was worried about the pup but after the night of my tummy feeling tender i concluded that there's enough tummy there to protect the baby lol.
I've updated the list with my next scan date, if anyone else has got a new date that needs adding let me know.

I got told to think about it like this - if you had a beachball full of water with an appleseed in it you'd have to do a fair amount of squishing to damage that seed!

According to the 10 week scan the gynaecologist says I'm due on the 1st of August (even though the midwife says the 3rd). I've got my dating scan on the 27th of January, so I hope more is clear then.

Is anyone else as nervous as me? I feel like I'm being silly but it took us so long to conceive I can't actually believe I'm now pregnant. When do you start telling people? I can't wait to tell everyone but hubby wants to wait until we've had the scan.

Hey Bec!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! We're trying to not tell anyone, but a few people have been told. I think most people say to wait until 12 weeks, but just whenever you feel comfortable I think!!

Bec, welcome to the club My DH didn't want anyone to know either until we had the scan, but seeing as there was a blessing at church on the second Sunday of Advent when I was about 6 weeks gone, we had little choice. We told other family members when I was 9.5 weeks gone at Christmas and everyone else found out after the scan last Monday. But just don't tell him that I actually informed some colleagues before Christmas break

Hi everyone! I'm new to all this so thought I would join... I'm 25 and recently engaged (we worked out it was probably conceived that weekend lol ) It was unplanned we wanted to wait a few years but feel very lucky and happy that it has happened I'm 9 weeks nearly. The midwife gave me an estimated date of 16th August and now just waiting for my scan date did anyone else have to wait long for theirs?

My Bean is due on the 19th which is a day before DH Birthday so he's all and 5 days after our 10 years wedding anniversary!
Although our first born was 15 days late so I could end up in the September club

Still waiting for a dating scan though as my dates are all over the show!

I wanted tell you that I am a big fat dummy and I told you the wrong due date. I re read my notes with less of a pregnancy head on and it's 6th not the 8th! 2 days WOOHOO!

I told my sister that earlier and she said...you just know it will probably come late anyway...so true if it's anything like me and Aaliyah
