**** APRIL MUMMIES 2016!!!**** Almost there!****

I need a pram... Some Moses basket bedding and all the stuff for my hospital bag... I agreed with my husband that if I do have to stay we'll make a list and he'll go shop... My only fear is that they'd induce me now as it's way too early...

Lady in the room next to mine is in labour... Her screams are terrifying and I'm scared and I need my mum :(

Jedi are you on an antenatal ward?? Poor lady next to you needs to be moved to a delivery suite by the sounds of it :/ Sounds like she's contracting and needs to suck on the gas!

I hope they let you keep cooking lil'un but most important thing is that you are both safe and healthy. How far along are you now?

KK, Sounds like you have a good supply of nappies so far. I have 2 boxes of size 1 pampers and that's all atm.
They're so expensive!

I am 31 weeks now... Blood pressure through the roof... I don't know how long they'll let baby in here... She was moved already BTW. Hope she's OK... And I hope my little one is safe

Have they checked your wee again? Or are they doing anything to get your BP down?
Try and get some rest hun. Be alert for when hubby turns up in the morning xXx

How are things looking today Jedi, I'm sure you'll feel better when hubby arrives. Continue to rest up and stay strong for baby xx

Well I got woken up by the midwife, last night I was complaining of headaches and my heart was feeling like it was pounding off my chest, BP was through the roof again... She was supposed to have given me paracetamol and mistakenly gave me ibuprofen... BP did go down eventually, but so did my heartbeat, I usually have it at 70-80 and it got down to 45 last they checked... One of yesterday's midwives told me I was to be given medication at midnight for my BP and get monitored a couple of times during the night... This didn't happen... So right now I'm in the dark... Midwife is sending a doctor to check on me due to her error with the meds... Hopefully it'll be OK though. They have checked both my blood and my urine the 2 days I was here but no results were given to me... I literally had to bed to get a sick note for work and I got a half assed one for 2 weeks says obstetric concerns... Oh well... And at work they asked me to call as soon as I'm going into labour but to make sure there's actually a baby coming before I call... FML

Doctor says I should be alright to go home today... I'll have another BP check around 12... If it's a good number I'm going :) have to come back Friday, then Tuesday and Thursday but at least I get to organize the baby things and sleep in my own bed

Oh thats reassuring, fingers crossed they dont change the plan and bp is ok at next check! You will feel relieved getting things ready at home just in case xx

Blood pressure was lovely, so I'll be on medication and will have to come back a few times a week until it's safe to induce. I'm waiting on the final verdict but it looks like I'm going home today! :D

aw glad to hear your going home. hope everything stays okay so that you can relax at home and get things a little more ready.
look after yourself and baby and I'm sure everything will be okay Xx

Did they say that you'd have to be induced early or is it all down to results as your pregnancy progresses? So glad you were able to return home and to your own bed. Are you able to take maternity leave early? xXx

It will be as the pregnancy progresses... I am due back in hospital on Friday, tuesday and Thursday... I am on sick leave now... I'm worried now though... TMI, but I came home and this white stuff started coming out of my bits... I haven't had any sort of leakage throughout the pregnancy so I'm not sure if I should call the hospital again

Glad you're home Jedi - any concerns just ring the maternity unit, don't take any chances it's just not worth it X

Have you all had your whooping cough jabs (those that chose to have it) and did your arm hurt after?
My arm has a lump and is so sore - I've not got a great pain threshold anyway but I'm surprised by how much it's bothering me!

Jedi, the discharge may just be cause you're approaching the end of your pregnancy. I've had it the whole way through and loads, it's gross! Have you been laying in bed the last couple of days? Cause it could've accumulated and just come out lol sorry TMI! Xx

Yep, had a sore arm for about 2 days with mine and red in the jab spot...

And I have been laying down a they didn't want me to move around too much... I actually overdid it today

Glad you are home now Jedi - just try to take it easy now and get those last few baby bits done xx

Had to come back to the hospital... Having a c section today... Hopefully the baby will be ok

Oh my Jedi! Good luck hope everything goes perfectly for you and baby x
