I’m 11 weeks today (yay!) But still got 2 weeks to wait until my 12 week scan ! Can’t wait! Scared but so excited xx

Think I am just feeling how you are night owl, my symptoms come and go. I still have discomfort in my pelvis at times. Spotting seems to have eased at the minute though. But doctor not concerned about it now I might just be one of those people that has spotting throughout their pregnancy who knows. I think I can really start to chill if tonight's scan is ok. By the last scan I had I am 9+4 today still have a few weeks till my NHS 12 week scan though so relieved I have tonight now. I don't know how people physically wait till 12 weeks not having any scans.
My nausea has been ok past couple of days, although I still have lots of aversions. I have been full of cold so just a bit run down in general. Think it's back to school germs the kids have passed on xxx

Good luck for tonight MM, oh I know what you mean I’d have gone mad without an early scan, I’m even tempted to book another one! Hope you feel better soon

Yep I’m deffo getting the flu jab, I get it every year anyway because of my heart. Is anyone getting the whooping cough vaccine as well? Xx

I’m a bit scared of the flu jab, I’ve seen other people saying it made them ill, I’ve never had it before have you ever had any problems with it?
Didn’t know there was a whooping cough one, will have to ask the midwife about it!

I’m a bit scared of the flu jab, I’ve seen other people saying it made them ill, I’ve never had it before have you ever had any problems with it?

I’ve never had any issue from having the flu jab, before I started getting it I had the flu when I was 4, and then once I’d started having the jab I’ve never had flu again. It can’t make you sick anyway because it’s not a live virus they use, the only reason you’d get the flu once you’ve had the jab is because the strain of the virus they use to inject you with is the most common flu strain to give you the biggest chance of not getting common flu - more rare strains of flu you can still get because they are a different virus to the one they immunised you with. So it is still possible to get a flu, but very uncommon and you’re left protected from the most common type of flu which is always a good thing! I hope this helped, and hope it made sense I got a leaflet about whooping cough and a letter about it after my booking in appointment, I don’t think you need it though until 20 ish weeks so you’ve got plenty of time xx

I have definitely popped out, but by the time I get home it doubles in size with all the beige food I’ve been eating 4 bits of bread today - I barely ate 4 a month prior to this pregnancy

I think I will get the flu and whopping cough jabs - I want to be covered for all things where it’s necessary.

As I type this the oh is sat next to me in bed reading his dad commando book

Hi girls scan went really Well! Little bean was jiggling round and great heartbeat. Was trying to post a little pic but I haven't a clue how to do it?!?! They have measured me at 9+3 today but said baby had chin tucked down so probably is around 9+3or4 which matches the last scan I had. Everything else all looked great.
I'm a 12-14 anyway but I seem to be bloated and popping out already!!! Feel like I am trying to hide my tummy xxx

Aw thank you, no this is my first! My belly deffo does grow as the day goes on, but it’s quite big in the morning to start with anyway! Not sure I’ll be able to hide it until the 12 week scan, especially seeing as I’ll be 13 weeks for the scan too xx

Thank you!!! I'm over the moon but still waiting for it all to sink in!!! Does that sound strange?!?! I still can't actually believe I am having another one it doesn't feel real!! I didn't think I would have anymore after my third but was sure I was done after number 4. I am made up now with a 5th surprise but I can't actually believe it yet. Maybe it will sink in when I go public with it.
Has anyone else announced yet?
I feel like loads of people know at the moment and I can't actually wait to announce it now it's driving me mad keeping it quiet.
Only thing is I have a bit of a pickle... My 12 week scan is 9th October I will be 13+3/4 we have a wedding the 5th October my hubby is best man. I would ideally like to go public before the wedding. Don't know whether to pay for another private scan??? What do you all Think? Xxx

It also feels like everyone knows for me, but we havent yet announced it either - 13 days to go, not that i am counting

Weddings are always a tough one when it comes to be pregnant not sure what i would do myself, so cant really give much advice.
