I am soooo tempted to pay for an early scan, but i keep telling myself:

a) you are saving for a house
B) there is no reason why you need this scan

Great news night owl. I'm the same as u... Saw a heart beat but every little pain/twinge I get I'm still worried!! Did they book you a follow up or just wait for your 12 week scan now?

They didn’t book me for a follow up, hoping it’s because they thought everything looked ok, I’ve got a private scan booked for 2nd September anyway so it’s not too far away, I’m already nervous for it! There is honestly no rest from this anxiety, fingers crossed for us, when do you have your next scan?

I feel SO fat and bloated today, I can’t suck my belly in so I just feel like it’s really obviously today despite my baggy cardigan and am wondering how I’m going to hide it until end of sept!

I wouldn’t worry about getting an early scan IVW as you say you’ve no reason to think you need one, and the 12 week scan is the biggie anyway no matter how many scans you have before then xx

Got my next scan on Thursday. I am so bloated today too! Tried to suck it in and it's rock solid! Feeling slightly sick this afternoon. Going to work from home tomorrow, can't be dealing with another day in the office feeling like this tomorrow! Going out on Sunday, got tickets to see a band! Most of my friends know in pregnant so don't have to worry about that, but not drinking is going to kill me. I'll Wana leave by like 9pm!!!

I’ve been feeling bloated and sick today too, I start feeling a bit sick now halfway through a meal, I ended up telling 2 close friends last night as I was so convinced today was going to be bad news and I would have to pull out of our spa day on Saturday, I actually feel better for telling them it’s made me realise how much support I’ve got and one of them had a miscarriage too before her successful pregnancy so she understands what the anxiety is like

You’ve not got too much longer to wait until your next scan now x

Oh god, i feel your pain!

I was on a double date in London on saturday and that was just about doable, dont think i would cope with a festival or seeing a band

Just make the most of all the food you can have - thats how i am compensating for not being able to drink

I do understand why some women don't want to tell people until they are 12 weeks or whatever, but we got to 6 days of knowing this time and although we both said we weren't going to tell anyone until we knew 100% that everything was okay, I just felt so alone thinking that if something happened no one would know! So we have just told close family and friends, pretty much everyone who knows about the previous miscarriages. And the relief I felt was unbelievable. Having so many people messaging me everyday to check im okay is so reassuring! So I would honestly recommend telling people to everyone!
I've just had a thought... What am I going to wear on Sunday!!! Will have to try and find something that's a bit baggy or go and raised someone's wardrobe!!!
We went to our wedding venue to a menu tasting thing last night, all the couple's were trying all the wine and I couldn't!! It was killing me! But it will all be worth it in the end!!!

Sometimes it is just easier to tell a select few people and then when you are altogether it doesn't feel like you are the 'odd one out' if you know what i mean, like the others share your amazing secret

This is why we told a pair of our friends in our group, as hiding it from 12 -14 people would be so tough.x

Yea i couldnt agree me, you dont feel like so pressured to lie all the time to the people that are closest to you.

I too got good news my little bean had a little heartbeat I am so relieved! I make I am 6 +2/3 today but they have dated somewhere between 5/6 they said they can't give accurate weeks. But definite beat and they even were able to trace it and the doctor on call prescribed my blood thinners xxx
