Well we have told family but that's it until nhs 12-13 week scan.

Has anyone got a date for booking appointment for midwife yet?

Think I'm going to book in private scan for 9 weeks .... About 3 weeks time xxx

My booking in is Sept 1St I'll be 9 weeks then
Going for private scan on Sat I'll be 7 weeks
Not got date for NHS yet I'll get date at booking in

I've just moved to Asia, the system is so different here. Seeing gynaecologist today, hope to get a scan at around 7 weeks.

After TTC second since Christmas we've just got our BFP. Due 20th April so just 11 days after my daughter!
So excited and scared, I don't have the best birth story!

My boyfriend is here, only so long you can do the long distance thing for when you're a 14 hr flight apart. I must have conceived within 5 days of arriving so clearly the right move

I'm really pee'd that I had to tell my in-laws at the weekend which meant I had to also tell my immediate family too. It would have been nice to have some special time when it was just us that knew about it.

The in laws were trying to get us to go on holiday in early October for my MIL 60th birthday and we made our excuses saying we couldn't afford it (we really can't as we are buying a house) and then they said they'd give us £1k towards it so had to use the trump card as I really don't want to do a flight before 15 weeks or spend a holiday running after a toddler while feeling shit!

Had loads of questions about my plans for birth and what I'll be doing work wise as I'm on a fixed term contract that ends in December. Grr , we aren't even past the first 13 weeks!!

I thought I was going to have to tell inlaws before Scan as my husband and all the guys are going on holiday and I would be left with my mil who was taking me to see the who, but thankfully they have cancelled and I'm using the excuse of not going to lunch with her as it's the first week of the new semester. Me not drinking would give it away straight away

Yeah waiting till we have a picture to show them, it's only another five ish weeks and will go fast after new semester starts. I'm gonna have to tell lecturers though can't be hanging over bleach all day

Darcy I'm wondering how / when to tell my boss I'm pregnant.. My OH thinks I should tell them already as we are quite close & They have been very good to me lately (asked for a raise when we were buying our house, got another one shortly after because they were happy with me ). My boss works with my dad sometimes too, and my dad sometimes comes into the office so he might blab lol

Ahh that's a difficult one, I would tell your parents before your boss then my husband, dad and fil all work in the same place so it will spread like wildfire when they find out x

Well Hello ladies hope you are all well. I haven't been on in a bit as its been a stressful week and a bit. So after having my bloods done and the scan showing a collapsing pregnancy sac they were sure I would not make it a week without miscarrying. Well I went for a scan today and they saw a healthy 6w pregnancy heartbeat and all. The nurse couldn't believe it. she had never seen it happen before. So I'm a week behind as to what I thought I was but so far peanut is ok and due the 12th of April. My sons birthday haha. I have another scan in 2 weeks just to make sure everything is going ok. So I will be 8 weeks along then so fingers crossed everything is ok until then. Also means I found out when I was 6dpo because I tested the 26th of July and according to my due date I conceived on the 20th?? Mad!!xx

That's great news Angel.

I got 2-3 on a digi this morning, I know I shouldn't test but just want to see the digi going up. I'm 5 weeks on Saturday so that's good. Got my scan in two weeks time.

How is everyone doing?

I tested five times over two weeks lol.
I'm feeling ok at the moment I just have this feeling of a hangover all the time, my mouth actually feels like I've been on the booze the only thing helping is ice lollies. X

I still have absolutely nothing other than slight boob tenderness and occasionally feeling a bit light headed but then I have quite low blood pressure and it's very hot out here.

I'll def do another digital next week and then try and stop

I read on one of the other threads that someone was on several ice lollies a day in the first trimester - go for it!
