A friend just text me to ask me what I am using??

Although I have a bit of a bump I am not yet using anything, I did plan to use bio-oil though.

Anyone else using anything yet?

Is it best to start now as tummy is just beginning to expand?

I am off to get my second bounty pack today so I'll grab some cream!

Do your recommend Bio-oil??

xxxxxx

I use the palmers cocoa butter. Used it in my first pregnancy and got no stretch marks at all and so far I dont have any with this one. (im 26 weeks). That being said, i think if you are going to get stretch marks and saggy skin, no amount of cream will stop it as stretch marks are genetic im sure. Still, at leat it makes you feel like you're doing something to help!

i used bio-oil with my twin pregnancy and im covered in stretchmarks, granted they only came about 35 weeks but boy they came thick and fast. I'm in two minds to use any this time? im not sure if they would work?

I think I'll give it a try!

I don't like the small of cocoa butter so can't use that?

Any other creams that people can recommend?

Does any cream work??

xxxxxxx

I've been using my bio oil but not religiously, I do like bio oil and use it on my face to before a big night out, ten years younger and all that!! :)

I also have been using body shop body butters, they're really rich and smell yummy.

I'm nearly at the end of a big bio oil I've had for a while and I've been wondering whether the new one that's meant to be similar by jonsons is any good or cheaper?

Xx

Yeah I use bio oil every morning and have done so since 8 weeks. In the evening I use a stretch mark prevention cream. It was advice from my mum and it helps with my itchy boobs and tummy!! I still have no sign of a bump either!! xxx

I have some Boots vouchers as well so I'll go and get my bounty pack and pick up some bio oil!!

I cannot believe I forgot to think of this, I've had a bump for weeks

Hey sweets. I use Burt's Bees Mama Bee belly butter and, so far so good! Xx

I've been using Palmers Cocoa oil from around 14 weeks. Love the smell and how soft it leaves my skin!! :) No stretch marks yet, but I am expecting some!! I use the oil when I'm using my doppler or just after a bath or shower!! Treat yourself!! xxx

hey i use bio-il on a night as its greasy and palmers coconut in a morning, neither prevent stretchmarks but they can help with the itching, sorry to say it but if ur gonna get stretchmarks, your gonna get them, if u use creams and oils or not x x

Oh of course hun!!

I don't have any at all even though I have been almost 3 stone heavier than I was before my BFP

So I am hoping I have good, stretchy skin LOL!

I guess it's a placebo more than anything!

I've used everything lol!

Derma mum
Bio oil
Baby oil in the shower
Palmers coconut oil
Clarins body treatment oil (this is what v.beckham uses. I got it as a gift from my boss)

So far so good. No marks at all. Although I do inspect everyday as I just know it'll happen soon!
All my friends got there after they had the baby?
I'm 36 weeks Tomoz so really hoping they do stay away xx

They say if your Mum or sister got stretch marks during pregnancy, chances are you will to!! Both my younger sister & Mum got stretch marks....so not looking good for me!! Though I dont have any so far!! I have accepted that I will most likely get some, so I'm not going to be upset or shocked when they start appearing!! xx

Crap - both my Mum and sister got strechmarks!!

I don't mind though, it's part and parcel of it all I guess!

xxxxxxx

I use bio oil and cocoa butter - hasn't done much to stop stretch marks, just made my belly soft. My mum got loads of stretch marks so I've always been stuffed :( xx

I used the sanctuary stuff. I really liked it and it wasn't too greasy.

It didn't work btw. My stomach looks like an overstretched deflated balloon. With stretchmarks. I don't think my skin is very elastic at all.

I'm using the Johnsons oil, but really hasn't made much difference to the stretch marks. My skin is definitely softer though, it's weird that I don't have any on my bump but my boobs are covered :( Oh well! xx
