Anyone not TTC just yet?

Me and OH have been discussing it lately. We have a window now up until Feb or we will have to wait another year. We just can't afford to have another celebration/birthday in December. From the 17th Dec until the 3rd Jan we have:

OH's birthday
Christmas Day
New Years Eve
Our Anniversary
Dans Birthday

And my nephew/niece is due on the 23rd Dec!
It's the most expensive 18 days of the year for us!

We're thinking of trying in a month or so, but I'm still a little undecided

I have brother on 2nd dec
mine 24th dec then xmas then new year
Lewis my 5y/o on 12th jan
his grandad on 15th and my EDD for this preg will be 23rd jan ish lmao

We didn't try for the last two cycles because of this, in december/jan we have

2 of OH's Aunties birthdays (one of which has the same name as me and is only 3 years older than me )
OH's Mums birthday
OH's Dads birthday
My birthday
2 of OH's Uncles birthdays
2 of OH's cousins birthdays
My cousin's birthday
My best friends birthday (the day after mine)

Needless to say OH hates Dec/Jan

When he agreed to TTC it was on the condition we avoided december and jan as due dates, if I get pregnant this month it'll be due 18th Feb so if I do get pregnant lets hope baby doesn't come early

We are thinking about no 2 soon, Charlie is now 20 months and i am getting on a bit so really need to start seriously trying if we are going to have another. However at the moment i am still 2 stone heavier than when i fell with Charlie and i wasnt exactly skinny then, so i really really want to move this before i get pregnant again, and also i am enjoying the stage he is at now and the thought of having to split my time with a baby and him makes me want to delay it for a while, i love the age he is now as he is so much fun.

We have just stopped TTC after our loss....not sure how long we are leaving it...took us 7 months to concieve last time....

Hiya
I'm on my last pill packet and have two weeks left to run. After that we're going to use aternative protection while I get into the swing of my cycle as I have been on the pill for over 15 years. Also got to squeeze a smear in amongst all this cycle reckoning business We're going away in August and we are going to start TTC around then if all goes well with cycles etc.

My mum is convinced that we (as in the ladies of my family) are so fertile we only need to see a man drop his knickers and we fall pregnant hmm, we'll just wait and see...... I'm hoping I do fall almost immediately cos then I can have the summer off work

Anyway after reading some of the posts on here I think it's unlikely I will fall straight away.....good luck ladies when you decide the time is right x

ShineyHappyPeople, I'm undecided as I really like it being just me and Dan, we would have to move and I really don't want to go through labour again!

Hi,

We decided to ttc in February, but as I was on some strong medication last year I have to wait a year after not having it before we can ttc, to give it enough time to leave my system, so roll on Dec 6th 2008!

It does feel like the longest wait ever but I know that I will be fully prepared, i've already started charting to get to know my cycles and will start pre natal vits in September.
