Specifically pregnant ones . My sisters cat just gave birth to a still born kitten it's not fully grown yet (as in I don't think she was due to be born). She's liturally just left it and gone to sit in her bed and is eating now but we have no idea what to do . We didn't even know she was pregnant.

Trying to get a hold of a vet now just incase

I don't think it's much to be done but it's quite unusual for a cat to have only one kitten I think?
That's probably the only reason that maybe the bet needs to check her ?
Poor kitty.
Glad she is eating though

She needs to see a vet, there may be other still inside dead or alive, she herself could die if there is, vet will need to check and possibly give a shot of oxytocin to empty her.

^^agree I imagine there'd be more than one. Poor kitty :(

Quite common actually, but not worth the risk. Someone I know didn't want to pay the vet bill so delayed taking his cat and she ended up having an emergency c section and spay.

:( poor girl . My sis has called the vet now and they are going to take her in to check her out now . Thanks xxx

As I said to you earlier, the cat will handle it a lot better than your poor sis will. Glad she's having her checked out. Let me know how they get on x

Thanks hun she's being kept over night as she has more kittens inside and has to be looked after

Aw both my cats just had kittens, it is very rare for a cat to only have one kitten unless she is particularly young? Let us know how she gets on xx

aww poor kitty. one of my previous cats only gave birth to one kitten. the mother was around 5 years old, so it can happen to older cats.

No advice but I am glad puss has been taken to the vets...

Let us know how she gets on

xxxxxxxx

Delighted :) kitty still has healthy wriggling kittens inside

That's good news! Yay!

I think Cats during heat can get pregnant at the same time by different toms, so there could be a litter from one male, and one kitten from another male. They all come in their own little sacks too, so if one dies sometimes it will just be expelled x
