Measuring behing? Im measuring 33 and Im 35+2. Saw the midwife last thurs and she said all is well. Should I be worried or in 2cm out ok? I just dont look big and everyone keeps saying how small I look for only having 4+5 left. Ive only put on 1 1/2 stone.

Last appointment I was 34+5 and measured 33, midwife wasn't worried. I had gained 4kg from start although my weight has always been very up & down so at one point I had gained 2 stone lol
I'm usually told I have a neat bump rather than small but yesterday was told I had grown quite abit in 2 weeks, it was a male boss so like he knows anything lol

my bump is 1cm behind, midwife wasnt worried though.

I lost 5kg from finding out I was pregnant upto 25 weeks as I suffered from bad sickness. Everyone is saying how well I look and how much pregnancy suits me.....I keep thinkinging to myself....."did I look like crap before I was pregnant" haha. Just my Midwife is pretty rubbish so just wanted other peoples opinions.

i think they allow 2cm either side of your gestation! if midwife was worried she would send you for a growth scan, i was always behind i was 4cm behind xx

hi ive been like 5 cm behind and below minimum on babies growth chart, because of this I have to have extra growth scans every two weeks, have a consultant and go in to be monitored twice a week on an ETG machine. I am just not showing much (have posted my pics in the bumpy thread on here this morning)

If you are approx 2cm below or in front it wont flag up as a concern to them as might just be a one off so i reckon next time she sees you if you still behind if she is concerned or even if you express how concerned you are im sure she will send you for a scan. And honestly they can only gain a true idea of growth over like a 2 week time span as they need to gain an average trend, so this is why they will monitor it over a couple of weeks.

Give you one example. Aparaently my baby had put on no weight for like 4 weeks. Then all of a sudden in the last two week baby has put on 1lb so at 36 weeks baby was 5;5lbs and as of yesterday is 6lb3!! growth spurts happen :) xxxxx

You sound pretty much exactly the same as me hun. I went to the mw last Tuesday when I was 33+4 and I was measuring 30cm's I think (doing this from memory) so I am right on the bottom line on my chart. MW wasn't at all worried (and neither am I), she just said that I wont be having a 10lb baby - from my chart it looks like baby will be about 7lbs which I think is about right for me - I'm only 5ft 1in and my lasy baby weighed 6lbs 14oz and I weighed 6lbs 13.5ox when I was born. When I last weighed myself on Friday (34+0) I have put on 1st 8lbs.

Personally, I wouldn't worry at all hun.

They allow 2cm either side. I have always measured 1cm ahead xx
