Anyone else using cb advanced opk's this month?

Hello ladies,

I have read through all these threads and had to post. I have been using the advanced CB digis for the past 2 cycles and have a real mixed feeling about them. Well first cycle using them I got 2 days flashing and solid smiley from CD16... we did :BD: at the right times etc and I know I O as had 21 days blood and tranvaginal scan this month that confirmed O...to my surprise I had the shortest cycle for a while and AF showed up on CD27, I just thought a shorter Lp.
2nd cycle using them exactly the same and cycle 1 using them except for CM and FF tracked really late O at CD24 and had really long cycle 47 days..needless to say we totally missed the egg and :BFN:
This cycle just got 2 flashing followed be 2 solid on CD13 and have just been :BD: every other day since CD9. Cheapies haven't really shown a real dark + and CM is all over the place as taking antihistamines, but also trying to counteract that with cough medicine.
Well all in all I haven't actually decided if they are that accurate...I would love to hear about some :BFP: when using them. x

How long are your cycles usually Vic?

It really does vary Gayle. They vary between about 30 and 40 but usually between 30 and 35. When I was pregnant in May (period was 17th April) we had sex on the 13th, 16th and 17th of my cycle, so one of those worked! I tested positive 1-2 weeks on 25th May but sadly had a miscarriage starting the next day! Period started 4th July. Who knows! xx

Maybe you ov later in your cycle and have a short luteal phase. Keep testing and keep baby dancing just in case you miss it. I only got one flashing smiley before getting my solid smiley yesterday. I think I'm ovulating today so we're going to try and dtd again tonight even though its so hot here!

Yes I'm thinking I'll ovulate in a few days, I hope anyway. I've got 3 tests left and some cheap opks. We've been bding since cd 9 so fingers crossed!

Right! So after 7 days of blank circles, today c18 I decided to actually pee on the stick instead of putting urine in a container. I came back to bed and hubby said I'll go and look at it for you...I heard from the bathroom "oh It's a smiley face" I asked, oh a flashing one? and he said no a solid one! So that's odd!

So when do I count my days post ovulation from? Ovulation should take place within the next couple of days, is that right?

I still don't believe the test. Has anyone else gone from blank to solid smiley? xx

oh and yes, hubby did bring the test to me and it is a solid one (he wasn't being dim) Hehe he was so excited when he saw it bless him, I could hear it in his voice x

It does...hoping for a bfp for each of us. Got horrible sharp pains in my left side. Probably just ovulating now! xx

Ladies im feeling weird today and I dunno if its just symptom spotting or genuine. On and off slight heartburn but iv got quite noticeable cramping in my left side probably just lower than my ovary.

Am I hoping for this to be something? im 5dpo.
