Hi ladies,

Just after some reassurance that I'm not the only one who is teary eyed after giving birth? I find myself just bursting into tears for no bloody reason! All I can think is that it's just all the hormones etc tonight I've just been crying at nothing.
Maybe the whole being a new mummy is completely overwhelming me.
LO has her first weigh in tomorrow and I think im worried she's not getting what she needs etc ive not had a pooey nappy for 2 days now and it's worrying me.

Sorry if I just seem like I'm completely overreacting I'm just all emotional and hormonal no doubt? X

Hey Hun.
Firstly, congratulations :D

Secondly, what you are feeling is completely normal!! It's hugely overwhelming to suddenly be in charge of this little thing, something so little that creates a big shock wave!! Add hormones to the mix and voila, tears !!!

It will take some time to settle but I can assure you it's normal. If you start feeling down or it gets more than that then maybe you could talk to someone but I'm pretty sure that its all fine xxxx

I have been exactly the same! I cant stop crying when I think about giving birth and the amazing experience it was for me.
My OH was the same aswell - bless him.
I think its just so overwhelming that out LO's are here at last and our hormones are crazy.
Ive not had any tears for two days but like I say for me its thinking about the birth xxx

My mw said it's perfectly normal hun.

I've been in tears several times over the past few days for no reason at all.

xxxxxxxxx

Thank you ladies,
Good to hear I'm not the only one who's like this. My baby girl is just so amazing and she overwhelmes me sometimes.
At midwife later so will probably mention it to her anyway :) xx

I was bursting into tears for about 10 days, worse to start but it did improve x

I was in constant tears for about 2 weeks.. it gradually got less! I'm still a bit over sensitive now though!

Thank goodness, thanks for bringing this up, because I am in tears a lot at the moment - I am feeling completely overwhelmed and LO just won't stop crying!

Thankfully the tears have stopped and I'm not some emotional!lol it didn't help that my outlaws were down this weekend so I found it really hard but back on track :) x

Hi mrswoody - fellow November mummy!!

Glad you're feeling better xx
