Anyone else in a constant state of excitement?

It's of course lovely to feel so excited but it's also exhausting LOL!

I am having trouble sleeping and waking really early as my mind is just full of (happy and positive) thoughts.

I feel like I did in the few days leading up to taking my pregnancy test - so bloody full of hope!!

I can't go the next 22 weeks like this though

On the whole I am very calm and relaxed about this whole pregnancy but now I am getting so close to so many exciting things (feeling bub, seeing him/her again, being able to start buying things, having a lovely little bump) I am like a child on Christmas Eve!

Awww, that's so lovely! I wish I was full of Christmas Eve excitement all the time lol. You can definitely go the next 22 weeks like this, I can't imagine a point when there won't be new bits for you to get excited about, just think about all the other things coming up... V-Day, double figures, tri3 then you're on the home straight!
I hope you don't burst from excitement

Day to day I am pretty level headed and calm, even a bit of a cow on some occasions I am a proper realist.

However at almost 32 I still get excited about Christmas and going on holiday [and things like that!]

This feels like that sort of excitement, magnified a hundred fold.

Yes pregnancy is like that for me too. I love it. I feel so full of purpose and it's sooo exciting. I think it's a bit like the high some people get from drugs ( although of course I wouldn't know that for sure) I'm still struggling alittle with the thoughts that this is my last though it's very strange and I'm not finding anyone who can really understand the pregnancy is one huge high but the worries that I'll never do or feel this again are quite sad moments . I'm trying to stay positive but they creep in . Enjoy it xx

I am just like that too! So nice to know I'm not the only one lol. I am the biggest child ever on the inside


I think after my 20 week scan I'm going to be like it about the baby because we can start buying things properly and doing the nursery and things.

Actually hun, I think the booties def kick started something in me!

I've since ordered some stuff (just white essentials like long sleeve all in ones, a few sleep suits, some bibs and mitts - oh and some white muslins!) and I have been in right tizz all week - in a good way though!

I just feel so excited, long may it last hey?

Sooooo glad you feel this way Hun, after everything you have been through it's brilliant you are excited.

I go through phases where I am rediculously excited but the further along I get the more scared I get.... I think I am worried about how good a mum I will be.... My upbringing has been less than conventional and I am just paniking that I will not be good enough because it.

Other than that, I cannot wait until LO arrives apart from being exhauseted I am just so thankful that I am feeling pretty well in myself.

There are so many milestones coming up for you so even though you have 22 weeks leftit will fly by xx

Yeah i'm the same, i cannot wait to meet my lo, and i'm fortunate in the fact i get to see my baby again at 35w, although i'm seriously considering a private scan lol, i wanna see my baby again now (and its only been 3w and 3d since i last saw him/her. curiosity is really getting the better of me too, i really wanna know if im having a boy or girl... MUST STAY STRONG... MUST STAY TEAM YELLOW... lol

I have my 20 week scan on 18th June and then another at 32 weeks (everyone at my hospital gets a 32 week scan!)

So two more to look forward to, plus all the other amazing stuff

Getting a scan at 32w as standard is sooooooo unfair lol. I like your hospital, most I've heard of only do 12w and 20w x x

It's pretty new as my sister had my nephew at this hospital in March 2011 and she didn't get 32w scan (my SIL who has a little 2 week old did however get the 32w scan though!)
