anyone else based in Glasgow?

Just wondering how quick everything went. Got a letter a few weeks ago to say we have reached the top of the waiting list...yesterday I went for blood test, swabs and height and weight checked and got sent home with a whole load of forms to fill out. To go back on the 25th to sit down with consultant, get more blood tests done and have an internal scan carried out. Was told appointment would last about an hour. When on average should we estimate to start our first cycle? Xx

Hey nicky, Im from Glasgow but it was 2 years ago I went through the procedure but my sister went through it last year. I can tell you about mine and her time scales as they were both the same. It may not have changed much. The biggest wait was to get the letter that was over a year. Once I had gone through the actual part you have got to the procedure was within a couple of months. It was pretty quick after it. My procedure was at the Royalbut my sisters was at the the Nuffield hospital due to work at the Royal. I wish you all the luck!! ⭐️

We had ivf and iui at the royal in 2013. Our first app was lots of form filling, weight, blood tests and swabs done and then going through what treatment would entail.
We were told as long as all was ok with bloods and swabs we could contact them in next cd1 and would start down regulating on cd1 and that would be us off and running
