Any reptile keepers?

DH has just informed me that i will definately be getting my royal python for my birthday next month, to add to the rats, dogs and my sons beardie.

Royals are brilliant, but a pain when they go on a feeding strike which is very common for these types. Just a wee warning lol, i am getting another girl royal this weekend i can't wait my male royals will be chuffed to have another girlfriend in the house

Ive got a horsfield tortoise but some of your collections sound awesome!We own more of the fluffy variety of animal rather than reptiles. We have the two dogs, two hamsters, the rabbit, the tortoise and up until a month ago our ratty, who very sadly died xxx

Oh, my mum has a leopard (i think) tort and he is a huge thing - he walks around like a tank, picks up speeds and crashes through things

I think they're a bit more hardcore than most - take some looking after

Erm I have a tortoise :s haha compared to all your snakes and stuff that's really quite pathetic lol! X

Once you own one reptile it gets very addictive pretty quick lol. I sat with one for a few years now i have over 30 in the house at the moment but take a lot of time up with feeding and changing but worth it

This is Indie, our B&W Columbian Tegu.

It's hard to give you a size-scale on this guy, but right now he's about 2 feet long, nose to tail-tip.

This is Rocky, our itty-bitty disabled Bearded Dragon.

He'll never get any bigger!

hello there guys I noticed this thread and thought i would reply as i put a similiar one up a while ago and didnt get many replies. I had all sorts of reptiles a while back varying from snakes, tarantulas, scorpions and lizards. But due to someone grassing me into the housing that i keep exotic pets i had to get rid of most of mine as your only allowed one pet and i have a cat. In a way it was a good idea as the baby is coming anyway and wouldnt have as much time for everything as i used too, but just now I still have my female bearded dragon called gizmo, my leopard gecko zackie and my oh has dart frogs. aww my god your beardies are so cute specially the wee babies. i only have one i love her to pieces shes being a little strange right now though totally went off her food and doesnt do anything apart from sleeps all the time. i used to have a chameleon but i sold it as i never had the time for it anymore. My oh has a corn from the corns he breed a few years back x

Yeah, I use RFUK [Reptile Forums UK] a lot, and EIE [Emerald Isle Exotics] too, but to be fair I haven't been on either for about a month now :S x

Yeah i am on RFUK at times, strictly exotics, scottish exotics. I only nip on them now and again and when i am selling or looking for advice or a newbie for my collection.

Some nice reps you guys have, i will only stick a few up because there is loads lol and it will take all day to resize them lol.

Thanks, Is that scottish exotics? I had just put a post on there yesterday of my hatclings lol. My OH does not even know i come on here so we need to keep that quite i come on this forum
