Any one had a positive induction experience?

Will they offer you the gel/pessary first? If I could do my induction again I would have refused the waters breaking and just carried on as the gel was enough for my body to start doing what it needed to but because it was procedure they broke my waters. If your already getting tightenings and they offer the gel Id be temted to see how that goes and it might kick everything off naturally for you

I agree with above though that if your body starts doing what its supposed to hold off on the drip. Good luck!!!!

My birth story is up.. I was induced but went for strong pain relief coz I had no waters left to cushion the contractions..

Yeh i think they are giving me the pessary first, only if i have dilated naturally to 3cm ish will they just break my waters, don't know whether to go with that or try the pessary first? trying to avoid the drip if i can, doing lots of bouncing on my ball, walking, drinking RLT and taking evening primrose oil. Anything else you guys can think of?
