I had my anti D at 28 weeks and today got told the hospital has said I need to b tested again (blood test) to see if the ant bodies are stil present ,why would they think they r ? bit worrid !

I'm told that sometimes the first anti D can sometimes not be a high enough dose, this is why as a rule we now have two, one at about 28 weeks or earlier if you have a fall or a vaginal bleed, and one immediately after birth.

oh i c ,it said on the letter the midwife had antibodies found possibly due to recent anti D

My midwife told me I have to have the one im getting in a few weeks but I might havr to have one after birth they donnt know until after as it depends on the bubbas blood type :\ I'm not really sure I think its all just wait & see what we're told tbh x
