Well, we were fortunate enough to have a 3 d machine and the consultant gave us pictures.
That's the only good news.
She said the exomphalos is so big, that even a baby without Edwards wouldn't survive.
All they will do is keep her comfortable if she is born alive.
She said the chances are 50/50
She seemed a bit surprised that we were letting nature take it's course.
Feel almost judged for not choosing a termination.
Can't stop crying.
We haven't been given even a shred of hope and I've had enough now.

Thank you Hun
I will she will make it to full term.
Just hope we are given the same treatment as everyone else, she deserves the best chance possible x

you're over 24 weeks now so surely they will have to do all they can for you if she does arrive a bit earlier? i think u have a real little fighter in there too and she will go all the way!

what are you expecting on Tuesday, is it an extra scan to check she is coming along ok or are they looking for anything specific? let us know how you get on hunny xxxx

Your little girl is doing amazingly well hun

Good luck with the scan, hope it goes well

Xx

Thank you girls.
I think they are going to scan every few weeks.
I get to meet a new consultant at the end of august and several people says he is brilliant.

Thanks ladies!
Mostly, thanks for helping to make this situation "normal" and getting excited with me.
It's been such a hard mountain to climb.
I will be sticking around here for a little while longer as my ticker is a bit further ahead.
Will update later x
