Ok so i think my cat is up the duffer....
so i took her to the vet and he charged me 20quid to feel her tummy and tell me he was 90% sure she was having at least 2 kittens...

Well i done my calculations and we suspect that she is due this week.
BUT, ive never had a pregnant animal before so i havent a clue!!

well last week she was very clingly...slept at my head everynight, had to have contact with me or my OH .
This week shes been very distant....but hasnt really got a place where she is "nesting", she just gets comfy and then moves somewhere else. We have put a blanket down in my cupboard that she likes so hoping she does it in there.

Well anyways, today i was lying in my bed watching jeremy kyle, as u do, OH came upstairs with the post and when the cat moved, noticed little dots of blood all over the duvet, had a wee look and her (hole) was red and puss like....

Is this signs of her going into labour? Or is this not normal?

Just really worried about her , this will b her 1st litter

Any advice would be great x

Hmmm...don't know cos my cats have been done so no kittens...sounds quite likley tho i'd say from what ur saying.... hope it goes ok x x x

I haven't had any experience of a cat having kittens, but when one of our dogs had pups we knew they were coming because she was very restless and just kept on licking and licking and licking at her lady-bits. There was also a discharge but no blood straight away, once the discharge appeared she had had her first pup within a few hours

Awww good luck, make her a nice extra cozy bed and put her feed and wate beside it so she knows that is her safe place. maybe in your bedroom. keep it quite warm but not too hot. keep a close eye on her but dont intrude her space. try and stay in so if she needs a vet you can call one xx

She will just go and nest somewhere she feels most comfortable and is less likely to be disturbed and usually dark (we had a cat that had kittens in my wardrobe..lovely) I think its best just to know where she is all the time and check on her every hour. Or google it xx

aww hun thats ace my cat had a litter of 3 and i put her bed behind the couch were no one goes or can see, she took her self off one night and was making funny noises then next time i checked there was 3 little babies. its rank that they eat all the after birth and stuff...but less mess and they clean the babies there selfs, then just give her a few days with the babies, because if you touch em the mother can disown them, as they have your smell on them.....

well still no signs of babies!!

its so annoying cos we have a party to go to next sat and we dont wanna leave her incase she gets into trouble...
theres been no more blood that i know of and shes not going into her "nest" either. if nothing by the monday, i will take her to the vet i think x

Awww Ema I'm jealous I love cats/kittens.. I hope things speed up for her soon, will you keep the kittens? Have no idea on anything else But am super excited now for you My cats called Tinkerbell and before Odhrán came along she was literally like my baby!

still no news
we rang the vet for advice and he told us to keep an eye on her, if nothing by the weekend weve to take her in on mon for a c-section !!

shes still showing no signs, a lil restless but had no more spotting....confused.com!
