took amy to hospital this morning coz she would stop crying or coughing all mrning as well as having a really bad runny nose. so we seen her pedeatrian hwho says she has a chest infection and told me all she needs is calpol and to go out and buy her some surely this wont help it does she not need antibiotics to clean it its not to bad and he says she doesnt need any so im confused i will e taking her to see the doctorr and see what he says. only took her to see the peaditrain as he deals with a lot of her care . he also sed he doesnt what to give her antiiotics case she reacts to them badly and they will do test in a couple of months to see what she can take if it accurs again

poor amy , I dont know what to tell you , it seems your getting very conflicting advice . I guess the calpol will take away any pain or fever she has ? As for the infection my own doctor is very against antibiotics as he reckons is prevents babies immune systems developing?

yeah i hate giving her medicine tbh its probs the first time since coming out of hospital since shes been ill they also dont want to give her her immunisations too as shed probaly be more ill having them then not and he says that its the first time in months her being taken to the hospital beside the ops shes had but there well proud of her and are really shock about how and what shes doing they have also sed that they have now come to the conclusion she was 32 weeks when she was born and they got my due dates wrong but im really proud of her despite her being ill she always has a smile on her face. and she has now learnt to go from sitting to standing using her hands to push up on shes only just done that now

how can they get a due date wrong by 8 weeks??? did you find out what sex you was having at the 20 week scan????

yeah they sed at my twenty week scan with amy that it was a girl even then my due date didnt match up my last scan was on xmas eve as they were going to take me in for c section as she was breeched a few days b4 and she wasnt then had one a day b4 new years eve and they sed she was measuring about 30 weeks but when i give brith they mesured her at 32 weeks old so they sed she prem they didnt tell me that on the day the think now coz all babys nose are bloked till a few weeks b4 there born hers was blocked completely when theyu were born so. they now saying down to miscalculations that she was a prem but i got confused by and sed well at least she healthy now

Well its wonderful that she is doing so well ! That sounds likr it must have be terribly confusing though .

but say your 20 week scan was when you was 20 weeks and they confirmed you was having a girl and now they saying she was born at 32 weeks this would of made you 12 weeks when being told the sex and they cant tell the sex at 12 weeks? so technically she couldnt of been born at 32 weeks im confused lol like you said at least she is happy and healthy now x
