Firstly can I just say thank you so much for all of your kind words and support. Im so glad i joined this forum.
As you can imagine the last 4 days have been the most frightning and upsetting of my whole life.
I went to the hospital today and had my amnio, I cant praise the nurses high enough, they were amazing and really helped me through, I was a mess, as soon as I saw the trolly with all the medical bits on I paniced and cried, I promised I wouldnt for the baby but I was so scared.
It wasnt that bad, uncomfotable but I managed to do it without any tears.
Ive been in bed all day watching tv panicing about every little pain and twinge but so far so good.
I will keep you all updated and as soon as I get the results I'll be sure to let you all know. And should all be well, I will update you all with the sex of the baby

****UPDATE****
We had a call from the midwife today who told us the downsyndrome results had come back already and that they were all perfectly ok!! I could have cried!!!
They said thats all they were worried about and that the full report would be here in 14 days, but they werent concerned with anything on that!!
Im so happy, literally never been so happy ever!!!
